For the record, I was always one of the people saying how unfair I thought it was that Sony was excluding you from the events.  You guys always deserved to enjoy that aspect of the game as much as the rest of us.  I know people who play PS3 and how disappointed they were to be left out.

Oh no, some players who may or may not deserve them get two whole commendation packs. Seriously you need 40 commendation packs to get all of the weapons to X. I did work on all the operations and I feel nothing but joy that people who were precluded from the event can now earn the benefits because I know for a fact there are some good players out there on the PS3. Heck there was a movement to slay Brutes and tons of people ready to promote for both operations on the PS3. I figure most people who got them deserve them in more ways than one. So to all the PS3 players, welcome to the rest of the group, it's good to have you with us.

It seems petty to begrudge someone something given the circumstances it is sad but it does not surprise me.

That feel when PS3 players get the Commendation packs but us on the Xbox360 who actually did the challenge and didn't get them have no way to be compensated.

Attention PlayStation 3 soldiers, we have some great news.  After working with Sony we are now able to offer you the multiplayer Commendation Packs for Operation Goliath and Operation Raptor, held previously this year.  On Wednesday May 9th, please login and check the in-game store for your Goliath and Raptor packs, free of charge.  (This may happen as early as... well... now depending on the region you are in).

You have to claim your packs within the next 7 days, after which they will not be available again.

This weekend is Operation Silencer, and you will need all the firepower you can get your hands on.  Rally your squad, prepare your arsenal, and get ready to give the Reapers hell. 

*Please note that pack delivery times may vary based on region.

EDIT: Quick question about that "known bug" that keeps us from seeing the splash screen for each event: Is this something that can be resolved? It's obviously not a big deal, just curious.

I can understand the complaints here.

the people on xbox/pc who participated but are not good enough to beat gold didn't receive packs but they tried, then others get it for not doing anything.

I don't care I got mine but for those bronze/silver players are missing out but if you gave the pack to them to I bet everyone would still complain.

i think thrs some grief because those who earned packs did just that, earned them. a reward for success. i can understand that. im sure im still missing one. but look at it this way, ps3 users are getting compo for being excluded. perhaps a jumbo victory pack or a single com pack would have been a better choice but still, its only a game. which we enjoy playing. and so now can ps3. other packs will come along.

just like to say thanks BW/EA....as a ps3 user, i wouldve loved to participate in those weekends and earned the packs, but since we couldnt for whatever reasons, glad yall did right by us...thank you

I'm on the PS3 and I'm pretty sure I paid the same amount of money you did and yet I was excluded from the weekend events you were able to participate in. Is that fair? All of the PS3 owners paid the same amount of money for less product than PC and Xbox360 owners. According you your logic Bioware shouldn't have run the weekend ops at all because everyone couldn't participate. That would have been fair. Packs for no one. And oh yeah the PS3 users never got the resurgence packs so it took us probably about twice as many credits to unlock the resurgence content. But yeah you guys got slighted.
