Okay, here's my response.
1) Would you rather that all of the PSN players were left with nothing because they couldn't play?
2) I'm sorry, how is it disgusting? Doing a nice thing for the people who couldn't do the challenges, through no fault of their own, is disgusting.
3) This doesn't actually hurt you. I really don't see how this could be a problem.
4) If it makes you feel any better, now people on PSN who don't have the game, or refuse to take part in the ,challenges now get nothing other than the Squad goal.
5) To be brutally honest, you're making a mountain out of a molehill. A Ccompany does a nice thing for one of the user bases, and you condemn them for doing so.
6) Had you been on Playstation, I highly doubt that you would have an issue with this, unless you're that willing to have an issue with a company doing a nice thing.

I simply pointed out that they should have made them go through a similar challenge, i mean. how hard can it be? Atleast that way people who are willing to go for the challenge, say a gold extraction or something else get the packs, but now, even the ones who should not earn them, get them.

Now that I'm actually logged in I might as well give my thanks.

So thank you Bioware for doing this. Really appreciated, especially since I missed operation Exorcist and didn't have any of the N7 weapons yet. Too bad both pack gave me Crusader, which I don't like too much, but maybe I'll have better luck with the op. Silencer commendation pack.

The sad part is this is what you get on the internet.
However there are always good hearted people as well, and even though they please some who don't deserve it, those that do are getting it.

I say thanks to the bioware team for making this happen. Now all they got to do is patch the game in full working order and give us the battlefield skin and i would be sooooooooo happppyyyyyy. make it happen guys.

This was my first event on pc and I earned my commendation for this event Silencer. I just got the game about 2 weeks ago. I am in the same boat I could not participate in the first two either. I don't think they should have to give out free rewards. Doesn't bother me but what Chris said could apply to new owners of any of the platforms. Maybe Sony paid for it in some way.  In any case it is a good way to promote PS3 ME3 sales so both sides benefit.

Actually I've beaten gold since demo on PC. My Exorcist pack was not granted until after it expired

I have checked the store many times since I read this announcement last week and yet the packs have not ever appeared. What do I need to do to retrieve them? What customer support channels should I go through? Can someone, anyone, please help?

Btw, it's hilarious that people are complaining that "we didn't work for the packs." Nobody worked for the packs! It's a game... you played for your reward and the technical process behind putting these weekend events on is probably very complex. Hence they had such a hard time doing it with sony in the first place.

We still didn't get to play in the event, xbox users, so we are still the ones that should be able to gripe, not you. You got to participate... it's a privilege, not a job... if it's a job, quit and go do something that gets you paid.

Lets put the record straight here... you dont have to 'work' for them if you dont want to. 'Working' for them all weekend wont put food in your kids mouths or keep your family sheltered and in the grand scale of life they are pretty unimportant. Some of you are acting like children over a few pixels with stats! Wow some people got some free guns whilst others played a recreational game to get them.

If gaming is like work for you then i'd seriously consider taking up another hobby. Its all i ever hear now, people feel like they are owed something all the time. Dev nerf this, Dev boost that, Dev wipe my ass because i've forgotten how to do it myself because i'm 'working' all weekend for a valiant!

what about us xbox players who started playing the multiplayer too late to get those packs? i only just got me an internet connection that enables me to play online in time for the resurgence weekend and hence missed the other packs. i checked the goals and completed all of them (just the personal ones of course, this one can kill a million brutes all alone) shortly after i started playing the MP, because i misunderstood them as goals that can always be fulfilled.

^lol. funny, but true. other people getting packs shouldn't effect you. some people just like to cry about every little thing.
