It's a challenge, if it isn't challenging there is no point.

Also, who really cares that much about the community goal? I like contributing, but if we we win we only get a Victory pack. It's always full of junk.

Squad goal is what I'm interested in, and full extraction on gold is totally do-able.

I'm pretty sure they upped it because of the sheer amount of people who *just* played a FBWGG game to get the N7 weapon... And never bothered playing to kill Phantoms because they knew everyone else would do it!

Lots of Cobras are going to be expended this weekend, that's for sure.

I think there's a good chance that the number won't be reached; lots will be trying for a full extraction on FBWGG, plus Banshees aren't as common or easy to kill as Phantoms (Phantoms come in waves of three on Gold at the most, with multiple waves; Banshees are in pairs and they spawn less due to being harder to kill).

Victory Pack isn't worth anything. It contains only consumables. Pretty useless stuff. I will only do my gold extraction like all days. I couldn't care less for consumables.

I think it's a good thing, the ops was lacking a real challenge. Now they should put at least a rare weapon in the victory pack, so people start to feel like it's worth the effort...

The Victory Packs will probably be something different this time.
As I recall, the VPs from Op Goliath had a Rare weapon in them (or mine did, at least). That's still not much incentive, but perhaps this Op will have a new VP entirely.

I remember how some actually wasted 200 bucks of hes own and he made a thread about here in the forums. He got nothing. NOTHING! past lv5 from weapons, averaging lv3 per weapon. and barely half of the rare characters appearances maxed. rest were around the pattern unlock. Think about it. 200 bucks. right when you begin... and it gets you only that far.

I dont know about you, but i sure as hell remind people about that scam whenever i can. Id rather pay for DLC's where i know what i get, than keep the rigged shop as it is. hell even a slight change in the shop mechanics might get me to drop a buck or few every week for the shop. but as it is... no thanx.

By your logic a restaurant has failed in their business model for charging you for food because you eventually get full. Does that really make sense to you?

I enjoy playing MP on the weekends after putting in 60 hours per week on the job. If they have a goal for us that's great. If not I'm still playing so I will try to help attain the goal because I enjoy the game as well as a challenge. Bring on the screaming b!tches!
