I am having an issue just before approaching Lady Harimann in the crypt. The game is about to enter the cutscene but instead the screen just darkens a little and "Loading..." appears at the bottom of the screen. It happens every time, even if I revert to an earlier save and get to this point again.

I have already completed the game after it was released, I can only assume something was broken in a later patch I didn't have then. I have both DLC packs and finished them fine and have never seen this loading thing before.

Hit [Esc] when the "Loading" message appears. You'll jump over a bit of cut-scene dialogue, but at least you'll be able to continue the game.

The game was a loser compared to DA:O and the ME games; it's well over a year old now, so all any Bioware person wants to do with it is try to forget it ever happened.

I am having the same problem with the rogue mages in act 3, the screen freezes and "loading...: appears.Hitting esc doesn"t help

I am unable to complete DA2 due to the freeze in the faith quest in act 3. Completed quests are not registering, the fire rune the herbalist made out of the dragon's gland didn't happen. The glitches are multiplying exponentially and I am fed up. I will not be playing DA3.

Thanks for the email guys. I tried all of your suggestions and all failed miserably, not only failed but caused problems with my computer. I even disconnected from the net and disabled my security to see if it was causing the game to screw up, nope.
The program continues to run but the screen freezes at the same point each time while I get a loading notice which continues until such time as I end the game.
