I'm also looking for voice-based stuff. I'd like to make a few recordings of different things, including a sort of 'trailer monologue' for my OCs, much like the monologues given to Miranda, Thane, Grunt and jack with the FFTL trailers. Is there anyone out there skilled at voice altering who'd like to take a crack at this? I'd need a good male Krogan voice, a male Quarian voice, and a female Turian voice. Any advice or offers to help would be appreciated.

idk about voice work but ive been taking pictures of cutscenes and the like from both the ME2 and ME3 campaigns. since Falere is already in 3 i could scavenge around for some shots of krogans, batarians, male quarians, and collectors from the games that would fit the look of your characters if that helps any
I could always try putting a bunch of still images together in a video with the audio recordings to create visual trailers for the characters. I'm kind of feeling my way, as its frankly amazing I know how to do anything but turn the computer on, but I am always willing to take on new challenges. I'm just looking for different ways to enhance the ITU experience, and this felt like an interesting and new direction to go in.
I've actually just received something pretty awesome in this vein, so I may be able to put a link to it up here, if the creator of it doesn't mind.
Any suggestions or submissions to help put ITU on the map would be really appreciated, even motivationals or other images that the story inspires. Maybe like recreating a scene with images captured from the games or something. If any of you have an idea, I'd love to hear it.

hmm now that makes me remember Master Chief's little freefall from orbit at the beginning of Halo 3, maybe Shepard should get himself Mjolnir armor lol
but other Jack i think the only other person who could effectively pull that air drop stunt off is Legion and he could probably do scaled up version of the multiplayer Geths heavy melee to overload everything insight.

Now I've got to resist the temptation to have them branch off in a side-story where they never ctach up to the Normandy, like the lost cars in Cars.
As for the ITU-niverse, I'm actually going to consider opening it up for others to add to by fics and images, expand it a little bit. Once I finish the main plot, of course. Don't want anyone doing something that derails a character i had plans to use.

yea hes gonna be pisssed when he finds out while he was killing some two bit mercs Shepard and Jack wiped out a military space station bigger than omega. hmm i think all of them except Falere are gonna be bummed this missed the carnage or maybe Garrus will be jealous Shepard got himself a new sniper rifle and didnt get him anything lol
I'm actually tempted to change the Side quests to be between missions rather than along side them from now on because of that. Not only do some characters miss out on the action, but what if my readers choose for a squaddie to lead a mission, and then I decide I need him for the main mission with Shepard? I feel it may help make the chapters flow better.
as for Garrus' SR envy, I never thought of that! May be worth writing a scene about...

Shepard and Garrus seemed like theyd just have some banter of a guns especially sniper rifles. and since Shepard is one of the few people besides a Krogan or Geth that can handle a Widow i thought it just seemed natural for Garrus to be a little green around the flanges. heh in multiplayer ive actually got that fabled three kills with one bullet Garrus and Liara were talking about, THRICE and once was a triple headshot all with the Widow and one bullet...
and thats ones thing i like that Bioware did with DA2 and brought to ME3, party banter among themselves. it helps the characters develop without needing it to all come from the main characters interaction.

So, I'm toying with a few more ideas while I wrestle with this newest chapter (slow going, but i'm getting there). One thing I've mentioned is that i want to create a few trailers. To do so, I'll need to craft a Male Quarian, a Female Turian, a Male Batarian and a Collector's voice. Does anyone have any advice on how to do that?
I’ve used AV Voice Changer for a few purposes…it has the ability to take a voice sample (there are a couple versions of the SW so check the feature list), and if you say the same thing using a similar intonation, it can calculate the delta between your voice and the desired result; and thus the delta can be used to change your voice to (roughly) the same as the original speaker’s.
If a more ‘close enough’ approach works, you could try the free MorphVOX and play with the tone a bit.

I have also been considering posting a small writing challenge to encourage other writers to participate in this continuity. Maybe an open invitation to have a go at writing some supplemental scenes for squaddies not in the main team with Shepard during the Battle of the Draktarra Plains on Tuchanka or something. Would anyone be interested in that?

And getting so much done! Anyone else have a special place they like to go to write?
