Not sure you can really blame Hugh Jackman for that one. Besides, his cameo in First class goes a fair ways toward making up for it.mybudgee wrote...

Well I just bought DA:O on PSN, will probably give that a go when it is finished downloading (tomorrow) and getting Dragons Dogma on the 25th.
However this is still the only MP game I have actually been playing for a good couple of months. With the other games I mentioned they are both SP.
So it is still split.
As long as BW keep making content and saying they are I will keep playing and buying the odd pack.
I know, I love JRPG's and WRPG's and just RPG's in general
It is being Published by Capcom, I would expect it to be a JRPG
Lots more grinding in JRPG, takes up a lot more time.
Bethesda Game Studios. The top 2 rated games on XBL are FO3 at 1 (My all time favorite game) and Oblivion at 2. ME1 is three. Also, 4 of the top 5 rated DLCs are Bethesda. Broken Steel #1, (Something non-BGS), Shivering Isles at #3, Point Lookout at 4, and Nights of the Nine at 5.
Bethesda is overrated. Talk about buggy games that can at times be completely unplayable, but broken questlines and other ****.
Sorry but as much as I like Obsidian and Bethesda, thier games have a history much like BioWare's
The sheer size of their games make up for though.
No it doesn't. Especially when it's like Skyrim, a pure repetitive mess.

This, and the fact it is pretty repetitive. Still, it is fun, and a lot less frustrating than BF3 currently. Lot less bugs on the ME3 side of things.

Apparently we get equipment packs now which will hopefully encourage stingy players to use rockets when needed.
Although the main issue that really ended the MP experience for me and many of my friends was the connection of the servers. It lead me to a new router, up to date firmware updates, and having my ports forwarded in hopes of FINISHING WAVE 10 FOR MA MONIES.
I still get EA server errors 2/3 games but give less ****s than before so it works out, playing the game casually is enough even without a black widow X.
I had more fun in the demo.

- No new modes
- Character card trolling
- No official mod support
- Incompetence as seen last week
- No challenge unless self-gimping
- Less people from friendslist online
- Playing more Tribes: Ascend instead
- Having a huge backlog of games in Steam as well
That being said, I still play. Just not as much as I used to. What pisses me off the most is that there are a lot of bugs since the demo and yet nothing gets fixed. Now we probably get another DLC with new chars but I highly doubt we will get any bug fixes, new game modes or anything else like that.

Not to mention everytime they nerf something in game it adds more bugs and problems within the game.
DLC and item balancing over fixing core game mechanics will be biowares downfall on this title.

Well it does to me. For you I'd suggest that every time the game bugs out, take that as a sign that it wants Pizza.

But, uh, I guess the lack of modes. Some sort of CTF mode, I mean, they can add a sort of PVP, but have it like a training mode. Like pinnacle station, make a holo of a field, then have 1 team of four fighting a diff team of four, and again, it is training, so no real weapons or deaths. That way it can keep lore intact.
Assuming Bioware still cares of such a thing.

Gotta agree with most of the above, save the Tribes and Steam thing. Betas kinda suck when they're not really betas but passed off as complete features. I know the folks at Bioware are working like crazy on "stuff", but while cool "stuff" it really isn't the "stuff" that needs to get the priorty.

And you still get character cards for characters you have maxed out to level 20 and unlocked everything for their appearances. I’ve got better games to spend my time on than a game with this crap system.ZombieGambit wrote...
As a mostly Silver and Bronze player it takes forever to get enough credits for Spectre and Premium Spectre Packs. I have to play 2-5 matches depending on the difficulty just for Spectre. It gets really annoying.
To make things worse with these weekend events you have to play on Gold to get a good equipment pack making those of us who are not comfortable playing on Silver let alone fearful of Gold pretty much screwed.

The fact that I haven't unlocked the Asari Justicar or the Geth Infiltrator is very annoying, and I'm getting annoyed that I don't get medi-gels or the health packs (don't remember their name atm) but am constantly getting missiles and thermal clips is also getting annoying - so much so that I generally fire off 3 missiles a match simply because after the match is over, and I buy a Veteran and 2 Recruit packs, I know I'm getting 5 missile launchers total, 4 thermal clips, and 1 health pack (and of course no medi-gels). This has been going on for about a week now.
Basically the store (or the RNG nature of the packs) is what WILL drive me from playing the multiplayer. I would love to have a Carnifex 9 and a Disciple 3, but I have the reverse. I would love to have an N7 weapon other than the Eagle, but I don't. I would love it if my next rare character card was the Justicar or the GI, but I'm sure it'll be yet ANOTHER Quarian Engineer.
I even played for 3 days with all classes at 20, hoping I'd simply not get character cards, but that doesn't work, and not that I use it, but I just got the M-13 Raptor this weekend (while having had all pre-DLC rare weapons and characters, as far as I remember, unlocked before the DLC came out.
In short, the RNG nature of the store is the thing I hate about the multiplayer, and experience has taught me that spending real $$$ on it is a complete waste of money - if I could control what I got with my $$$ I'd spend some, but since it's random, there's no point in gambling - I'd gamble for real if I was going to choose to gamble real $$$.

Not sure why they push the Gold thing. Not only are a lot of people not good enough, a lot of people just don't have the levels/eqipment to do it. This pushes a lot of not ready for primetime people (I include myself despite my forays into Gold) into Gold matches so not only don't they win but the Gold regulars have a harder time winning as well.
