I have never been to a store before where I have used either cash or credit to buy something I already own and dont want.
I prefer to go to a store and choose what I want. If I really really want it, I will pay a higher price for it.
Do you see where I am going with this? Sounds like - well the ME3 main game...can we not have something similar in ME3 MP ? 2 mill for a Ultra Rare Upgrade would be better than the set up we have now. People will be put off when all they get are character cards in every SP/PSP.
Bioware may even earn some cash out of it too - a win win perhaps??
