Well, I think Bioware should give one player a gang of 4 vorcha in each match to make up for their lack of training! How they are to be controlled, don't know.

I look forward to screeching "CAN'T KILL ME!" and "STILL ALIVE!" into the mic every time my vorcha character is revived.

Why would Vorcha be good candidates...hmmm...let's examine the codex linked in the post by OP.

Temperment:

  • Aggressive behavior and savage nature
  • Vorcha society is built around combat. (singly and in groups)
  • Trained by the kroganBlood Pack. Vorcha "trained" by this ordeal are stronger, faster, smarter, and more resilient than other members of the race. Gaining even a few vorcha gives a mercenary band a formidable advantage; each additional vorcha magnifies the gang’s combat ferocity exponentially.
Regenerative Abilities:

  • Developing thicker skin after being burned
  • Cells are replaced allow them to heal rapidly, and even to regrow lost limbs over a period of months.
Adaptive:

  • Adaptability to different environments
  • The lungs of a vorcha placed in a barely-breathable atmosphere will adapt to better use the gases there.
  • Increased musculature to survive in high gravity
  • Will quickly develop stronger heart and leg muscles.
Yeah...bad choice... /sarcasmPosted Image

[*]So Vorcha = saiyans. Awesome.

So it seems that based off the intro to operation silencer, we will be getting Vorcha soon, now I don't know if Bioware is serious but seriously read this page and tell me what about it makes you think that these idiotic vermin would be trained by the N7 program (probably second only to spectres [ok maybe lower but still]) and put of the frontlines. Anyone else remember fighting them in mass effect 2? they were practically begging to be shot in the face! I honestly hate them more then any other race, and think adding them to multiplayer would be as dumb as adding Elcor, Volus, or Hanar. Just my little rage/ 2 cents

Are you seriously making the argument that the Alliance military couldn't find value in having disposable shock troops immune to disease and poison with the ability to heal all but the most severe wounds...?

I'm sure some Turians said the same thing about the first human spectre.

They want to do their bit, give them a chance to change your mind.

According to lore, there is only 1 surviving Prothean. How is no one making any objection about it.??

My only question is...will the Vorcha option in MP allow for self healing w/o medi-gel (like they had in ME2?)

Or will they be able to heal by eating their fallen enemies (mmmm, Nemesis brains....)?

If either option proves true, then I suspect a LOT of players will find this to be their favorite build.

Esp. if Vorcha characters suddenly start winding up being the most frequent Lone Survivors on Gold matches.

Instead of a Cobra Missile Launcher, Vorcha might get a Firestorm instead. :D

I'd be happy with that trade-off.

But yeah, I'm hoping for the Vorcha to have one unique pyro-based power (that isn't Inferno Grenade).

Also, at least some Vorcha are intelligent (see the one who takes over the Blood Pack in the campaign; he seemed intelligent for any species, just like a genius when compared to general Vorcha).

I meant to say that if OP wanna really stick to the lore.. Then it is not possbile to have a prothean character in MP, since only living prothean is Javik.

But all the MP characters are actual N7's. Did you suddenly forget the Batarians? It's also small groups of mercs and what-have you helping out with the war effort, Hackett and the Alliance respectfully call them N7's for their hard work, even though they aren't. It's not a military rank to the non alliance fighters, but rather a title or mark of respect.

Also lol @ Merchant.

It's the humans and aliens that call themself N7 and the Alliance (Hackett) let them do that as a sign of acknowledgement of the impressive results that they manage to achive. It's just a cool thing more than anything and Vorcha are awesome you know!
