But as I'm a rabid fan of TLJ, this has my heart throbbing at the moment.
(but I am a bit sceptical, of course, as Conan was the usual boring MMO, and I sure as hell won't play the beta if it's as buggy as it sounds - no point then)

If you're doing a game set on earth, it really throws it off if everyone looks roughly the same age, body weight, height and attractiveness level. I knew characters wouldn't look as good as they do in the TSW cgi movies, but I was expecting far more options in the creator.

Goes to show how desperate I am for a good urban fantasy game.

I got a key from Gamespot earlier this week, but decided not to bother downloading the beta after a friend explained it in detail.

I know of a couple of people who just signed up via gamestop a few hours before the end of the beta.
At any rate, I imagine they will have a few more of these "beta weekends" before launch.

Early access has begun one hour ago. Anyone interested into a TSW bsn group or even a cabal?

Got a change to give Secret World a brief spin. 1st impression left me very impressed.
Some of the quests made this feel like most innovative MMO since 2005. Came across two utterly awesome mysteries. Solving them gave such rewarding juicy tickling feeling. "Ha! I solved it!!!" is sensation you literally never get to feel in an RPG anymore. It's borderline supernatural and depressing it had to be an MMORPG that gave me this!![]()
Anyone know how many "mystery" quests the game has, total? The two I found were enough to Immediately put pretty much all problem solving in more or less any modern post 90's RPG, single player or otherwise, to shame. Having said that. majority of the questing is same tired BS TOR offered so I'm not as optimistic I'd like to be. IF these mysteries remains a significant aspect of experience past the early start though, it's pretty safe to say this game is awesome. Hell, I wish they had removed the dumb" kill 10 zombies" quests all together and focused on mysteries. Even the " 12 bear/droid arses, go!" quests don't feel as tired as they well should since the game is set in [supernatural version of] our world, our time.
