Ya some of the LI interactions were weak as all hell from what I've seen... Luckily wasn't disapointed with Liara, although I haven't been able to go through with any other LI's on other Shep playthroughs because of that damn ending... God I can't do it again.
Liara's was good except for constantly calling Shepard friend. And the final comittment part "I want to be more than friends", when I saw that I was like: Hang on I think you went past the friendzone two games ago.

So disappointing. All this time I took to make four Shepards with all these different choices in ME1 and ME2 and it feels wasted. Morinth, destroy/save base, council, Green Asari and on and on and it feels like the same damn game. Should be criminal what they did to this series.

Not all romances have a happy ending and you have a one night stand with her and shes the love of you life pssh.
That could be all the romances. Most of the LI's can only seem to get off right before high risk missions, anyway.

Hey hey hey. Garrus had the best romance in the series.

I was really disappointed with Liara's romance. "You're a good friend, Shepard." Good friend? GOOD MOTERF***ING FRIEND!?!? Biatch, we were talking about marriage and kids not 6 months ago. This should be the point where Liara and Shep share a freaking bed. I'm not talking about sex, I'm talking about living together like 2 consenting adults do. And the reason for this? Well, there is none. I'm importing a file with a relationship with Liara across both previous games. I'm not being locked out of content by sticking with her. I wanted that from the get-go. If not, I wouldn't have imported that save. What's my other option? Suddenly pounce on Ashley or turn gay for craps and giggles? Yeah, because either of those make any sense.
Don't get me wrong, I have no objection to gay people. I think Cortez was fairly well written, and my dad's best friend for longer than I've been around is gay. Him and his s/o might as well be my uncles. But I'm not. I was loyal to the character I had an actual emotional attachment too. Why the hell was that pissed on? WHY, BIOWARE?

The Citadel scene should have ended with something special I'd you romanced her, not the same scene as a platonic Shep. Also, the 'goodbye' was weak. Especially her silence in reply to his 'I love you'.

As you could tell from Mass Effect 2, its hard to create satisfying romantic situations with characters that arent on your ship/in your squad. How would Bioware even go about doing that?

Thane and Jacob fans can't even get the achievement.
Thane dies. You get two conversations with him. One is the deathbed! Neither conversation has many lines changed!
Uh... Well. What happens with the Jacob romance is magical, in its own way.

If your main romance wasnt with Ash/Kaiden, Garrus, Tali, or Liara, then you are doing it wrong.

it's not that hard, look at miranda scene, they can had a full romance scene in that room but no.
all I got is fade out implied that both had quickie, yeah thank...
worst all ME2 romance got is hologram goodbye with 10-15 second. if this is not call rush job
or play favorite, I don't know what it is.
