I also thought Miranda's was well done, for an ME2 non-squaddie.
she got almost the same dialog with non-romance. and she almost dumb shepard at the end.
plus, her romance in ME3 feel like sex partner than romantic relationship.

Maybe that's because Samara is not a romance.Hadeedak wrote...

If your main romance wasnt with Ash/Kaiden, Garrus, Tali, or Liara, then you are doing it wrong.
As you could tell from Mass Effect 2, its hard to create satisfying romantic situations with characters that arent on your ship/in your squad. How would Bioware even go about doing that?
it's not that hard, look at miranda scene, they can had a full romance scene in that room but no.
all I got is fade out implied that both had quickie, yeah thank...
worst all ME2 romance got is hologram goodbye with 10-15 second. if this is not call rush job
or play favorite, I don't know what it is.
so all of the potential romance options from ME2 just happened to be on planet Earth in the same area that you are in during the final battle, taking away the need for holograms? lol ok
I see why people are upset, but really I didnt expect there to be more romance scenes in ME3 than there already are. In fact I think Bioware was generous with how they treated most relationships in ME3. I mean aside from Jacob who totally cheats on you lol but seriously...who liked Jacob? Pfft.
the one thing that irritates me is that Liara seems to take presidence over every other LI though. I mean she shows up as one of the last people you think about before you die, regardless of who was your LI. Thats just annoying as all hell.
in the end though, everybody (sept maybe Liara fans =/) wants more than what they got in ME3. I'm a Talimancer and I sure as hell would love a scene of Tali and Shep building a house on rannoch/a better picture of them together, but so does everybody. I'm not making threads over it.

Does anyone know if ME2 LI voice actors have confirmed they're recording something for EC? All I heard is from main ME3 squaddies.
I know for a fact that Thane's hasn't, which surprises no one, but some of us were holding out for a 'greybox' scenario, which isn't going to happen at this point. Haven't heard a peep about Jacob, Jack, or Miranda's VAs.

As it stands it seems like the ME2 LIs were intended to be nothing more than cheat bait. Bit mean-spirited of them.
What little of Miranda's that was in the game was done very well, I think. The problem being that it wasn't nearly enough.
There's clear favouritism towards the original crew. 'Oh but I waited two years for yooooooooooou' versus a bunch of crap excuses about ME2 characters not being able to talk for six months. Jacob cheats on you, Thane acts like the relationship is over, Jack suddenly gets totally insecure again, and Miranda apparently has a selective memory and doesn't remember that the Shadow Broker lives on your ship.
I mean, what?

If they were anything more than cameos, they have a perfect generic replacement waiting for you if they die.

Well if none of the ME2 squaddies will be recording additional voice work, then it's safe to assume we won't be seeing a closure for Jack and Miranda romance.

Which I don't think we should necessarily take as a 'no'. I'm more inclined to respond with optimisim. If it was a 'no', I think she wouldn't have posted anything. She may be just being 'cautious' (about what she can say) and also wanting people to stop hassling her for info.

You get a one-night stand with Jack if you take the Rene route. It don't give the Paramour, hence, not full romance. Her Paragon route, the one that leads to sharing a bed before the Suicide Mission, doesn't actually involve sex at all. Sure ME3 implies they had sex up and down the Normandy afterwards, but AFTER the Collector Base.Noblewolf wrote...
Not all romances have a happy ending and you have a one night stand with her and shes the love of you life pssh.
Yeah. I'd expect we at least get to talk about her past and her plans for the future. Her romance outcome in ME2 was the most cathartic of all, and she gets reduced to Saren-knows-what in ME3 =|Sohlito wrote...
She went from emotional breakthrough to "dick, dick, dick, dick, I want dick".

It was short, but I found Jack's appearances in ME3 to be very well made, athough I didn't romance her.

It is really confusing. I don't know why they wrote all those loyalty missions and romance paths that were supposed to bond you to the characters in ME2 just to throw them away in ME3. I mean, it really seemed like they wanted you to get attached to them. It's almost cruel.Valentia X wrote...

I would be happy if just ONE ME2 squaddie was on the team in ME3. ONE. I don't even care who. Just one ME2 character to make things seem less completely one-sided.
