Erm, yes.
The moment lasted that long obviously because of the rush the guy was probably feeling that was inevitably overiding all common sense.
Excitment can easily override this way, you act as if you've neve had or known anyone else to have human experiences before...
Again, I'm not justifying the "crime".
There's a reason that crimes of passion and premeditated crimes are seperated in court, you know? And why one carries more leniant punihsment than the other.
Granted I am no lawyer, nor an expert on case history, but any incident that occurs over the course of four hours can hardly be defended as a crime of passion. Those are usually momentary fits of irrational behavior that are quickly over and done with.
Guy catches his wife in bed with the neighbor, he snaps and shoots someone. Someone physically assaults your kid, and you pummel them. Etc. etc.
There was ample opportunity over the course of 4 hours of non-stop repetitive behavior for this player to have realized he was exploiting a glitch and the store was definitely not working as intended.
