I was looking at another thread and was thinking how Multi-player games have changed over the years. Below is an example of what my first MP experience was like:

Back then, there was no need for a headset. My kids will never be able to see how awesome it was to be able to play a video game... AT YOUR HOUSE! No need for quarters or a trip to the arcade.

Now, my kids play games on my phone that would have required a warehouse to store all the game data back in 1977. These are amazing days for gaming technology.

So, for the rest of you out there. What was your first Console and MP game that really sticks with you?

Not sure why I'm comparing my first-ever MP experience with ME3 MP, but...

My first console game was Super Mario Brothers. My two brothers and I would sit smack-dab in front of the television taking turns each time one of us died. Those were the days!

My first MP experience was Quake. (at least, my first online MP experience) At the time, it was amazing, because I was shooting people around the world, even though I sucked, horrible.

Not really sure how it compares to ME3 MP, considering it's been so long. I went from deathmatch/CTF games to clan warfare to MMOs and now things like this.

Dammit, this was supposed to be in the MP forum. Not story and camp discussion.
