I'm completely surprised by the Merch you can get for Mass Effect, I had no idea about the comics, anime movie and clothing since I got mad at the ME3 ending and came to browse these forums proper.

I did come up with an idea though (even though the concept seems strange to me):

Both shoes should be Black with an N7 logo on the outsides (so on the left shoe, the left side, the right shoe, the right side)

The LEFT SHOE should have the Paragon Interupt symbol on the right side

The RIGHT SHOE should have the Renegade Interupt symbol on the left side.

I'm not sure what colour the sole of the shoe should be, probably white and white laces, but that's a common colour scheme and not too original.

As much as I like the sneakers idea(trust me I do), I have
to agree with BladyMZ here. I dont think we should judge when Bioware should do
this and that(I think they would know the best in that department) and the shoe
probably has nothinng to do with the dev team, but I'm getting increasingly
worried that the SP portion of ME3 will be negleted completely for the sake of
this kind of stuff. Like many are saying the ending invalidates all past
choices, and that would actually be ok if there were other ending(s) we could
achieve to counter it...but there's pretty much just the one outcome. The
Extended Cut might fix this(I will not judge until I experience it), but I
think the name speaks for itself. It only extends the current ending which was
kinda the issue to begin with.


Anyways sorry to bring up what's been said a trillion times
now, but that just goes to show how much Mass Effect fans care about the
series. I have faith in you Bioware. Please put our concerns in consideration.

I think I mentioned this earlier, but set of blue Paragon
and another of red Renegade shoes would be pretty cool. Same with an
Alliance(Blue/White?) and Cerberus(Yellow/White/some Black) design.  


Another idea I had was a shoe set based off of Shepards
armour. Something like this-

With a red strip going down one side(like Shepard's right armour piece) and an Omni-Blade, or weapon on the
other.



ANOTHER idea(dont worry last one) is an "Omni
shoe". It could sport an orange/reddish, semi-transparent style shoe like the bottom of this one-

With a reflective pattern on certain parts of it such as this-

(note those arent "lights", they're a custom glow-in-the-dark material/mix made by this guy- http://www.instructa...lective-shoes/)

Would make a great gift for those who run/walk around at night!


Theres tons of ideas out there, but whatever the end result I cant wait.

I personally hate the kind of shoes in the picture that the tweak shoe company has been showing (I prefer proper trainers that are lower. These ones look like Converse.)

However, I would buy and wear them if the design is nice enough. Only because it's Mass Effect though.

I personally would appreciate this project - But not this way.

Please BW, don't use those chuck like sneakers as basic! Make some nice Nike Dunk Highs or other high sleek sneakers. Take the Adidas Star Wars shoes as an example how to make it right. ME needs some new and cool shoes and not those boring old fashioned ones.

How much is the development, production and retail going to be? Expected lifespan of sneakers? What sizes, one time limted edition or production over a 1/2/3 year period, etc.......

I really should keep out of the merchandising aspect of ME. Probably till the ending conflict is resolved to previous ME narrative standards......... Either that or release a documentary. I'm stumped.

*Edit* If you absolutely, positively feel the need to make a shoe then at least choose a base model that is of great quality. A shoe that disintigrates when it's life span comes to an end is unappealing......... There's a wry observation in there..... somewhere.

Assuming... direct...confusion...why make organic's footwear vs synthetic headwear but if you must make footwear wait...until after harvest...use the scraps as in...bones and body fluids...especially those of...SHEPARD'S "allies"....

Thats a fine idea Blah. You should enter it.

The Mass Effect hoody is black, with a red & white stripe on teh arm and an N7 decal in teh breast. It is teh best selling thing we have ever made. Designs can be crazy, complex and colorful or they can be calmer and more simple. It is up to the designers.

Mr.Priestly switching teh places of the E and the H in the doe's not add anything particulary beneficial to the statement.
While I'm here I should say that while I'm no fashion designer simplicity is best.
