[Poll] Extended Cut: Yet another, ridiculously detailed survey

Sorry for the link to the results. Fixed it (a space had crept in)
Here's what I can see for now.
- Still a big bias towards PC users. This is consistent with the German Survey.
- Destroy is by far the most popular ending, but 22% of respondents reject all 3 endings in their current form
- Synthesis is the least popular and 43% go as far as to want it taken out of the game altogether. This is higher than the previous survey.
- The EC has a chance to make over 80% of respondents at least moderately satisfied without stepping over the limits of what Bioware has announced, but the bar is set fairly high: Addressing most of the issues cited in Part 2 seems to be necessary. "Showing our war assets in action" and "explain the impact of destroying mass relays" are both must haves for 95% of respondents!
- 57% of respondents have picked at least least one option in part 3 and would be dissatisfied if it isn't implemented. This is somewhat contradictory with the results just above. May need to rephrase the poll a bit to clarify.
- A lot of people like Indoctrination Theory (62%), but a large percentage think they may not need it if the EC improves the ending in a tasteful way. Only 19% need it made canon no matter what.

Done. Although you should have a multiplatform option. Because I play on both Xbox 360 and PS3.

Hope they listen.
The whole point of this survey is to yield practical, easily digestible results for Bioware to use on the EC, and what they gain from doing so.
Will tweet it to Merizan and Priestly when/if it gets enough replies (I want at least 1000). Feel free link it on other boards too.

Added.
Edit: Now that I think of it this is mostly for "control" ending where the citadel stays undamaged, but could apply to other endings as well. People in the wards could survive the explosion as well - these get automatically sealed and emergency life-support areas exist. Or simply have the fleet evacuate them while the Crucible docks.
Could simply be a reveal that Bailey and the citadel defense crew managed to help a large number of people escape before the Reapers took it, too.

By the time the EC comes out Bioware will have several rooms worth of feedback.

You think maybe apart of the reason Bioware did this is because one of their staff is studying part-time and has a project involving feedback they need a test-case for?

Sorry, not sure if I understand your question. Bioware isn't doing this poll.
I'm doing it. Mostly from personal curiosity but also to help them make the EC better. Bioware doesn't have any official poll I'm aware of, although they have tweeted about and supported other polls in the past.

I'm so abysmally lazy that I didn't count, but it looks like the vast majority believe in Indoctrination Theory.
Edit: This was a bit misleading. 66% so far believe in IT. But a lot of these would be satisfied anyway if the EC ending is done tastefully. Only 20% want it made canon no matter what.

Nearly 90% of players rated the game up to Priority: Earth as a 4 or better.
However, nearly 80% of players rated Priority:Earth as 2 or below.
Still, about 83% of players are rating the game overall as 3 or better, despite the VAST majority being dissatisfied with the endings. However, it's worth noting that out of the 492 surveys done when I pulled this last result, only 25 people rated the game at a 5.
Also: Zolt, you may have just ruined any plans I had for my evening.

A "would like to see this" option is a must have for many questions in this survey.
The way it is now will skew any results as people who would kinda like see something a little, are forced to choose the "must have feature" choice.

Some quick stats I pulled from the spreadsheet. Keep in mind these aren't 100% accurate, as the survey is still open.

I'm now playing with cross-analyzing the results. You'll love this:
Breaking news!
Xbox users enjoyed the game the most (3.33/5 average). PC users the least (3.20, not a huge spread)
PC users hated the ending the most (1.76/5) with 1 being the lowest score. Ouch!
Ardensia: PM me if you want full access to the spreadsheet so you can make up your own formulas on the "analysis" page.

Most of these questions need more options. There is a huge gaping chasm between being indifferent about something, and thinking of it as a "must have feature."

That's by design. Consider you're operating on a budget and only highlight those options that you think are critical to address. I'm pretty sure everyone "would like" nearly every single option. If they're actively opposed to it they have the option to say so.
Feel free also to skip the question if don't want to say "indifferent" this also reads quite clearly and won't skew the results.

You should post this in other gaming forums if you have not already. BSN is more then a little biased on some of things in the survey so it would be good to get other communities in on it.
Feel free to help me on this. Haven't been active on many other forums since ME3 came out.
