I think you twisted my words, I said that I bought 5 PSP and got 4 N7 out of it, point of the post being chances are NOT THAT low (9% I think?), I never said N7 are "Common", I also mentioned I realized I have been lucky on a lucky roll.

Last yesterday

  First two words of the OP and I know I'm in for something stupid.

I bought 5 Premium Spectre Packs in sequence, granted 2 packs contained only char cards I got 4 N7 weapons out of them, actually in one pack there were TWO N7 weapons.

  That's good for you, but the fact that you're lucky doesn't change that the rest of us drop 3 million on PSPs at a time and don't get anything but character cards.  If the drop rate is 9%, that means that if your luck isn't too sour, you will get one ultra rare upgrade every million or so credits.

While I admit I was a bit lucky, since I got so many N7 all in a row drop rate CAN'T BE THAT BAD, no?

If you really believe that your string of Ultra Rares is somehow indicative of a drop rate higher than 9% (which is nothing more than an uneducated guess) then I suggest you read into probability and statistics.

And that 9%, or 10% some believe, is based on community submitted numbers which are tainted in so many ways it is difficult to count. 

Asking people to submit all of their UR drops based on how many packs they remember purchasing will not yield even remotely accurate numbers. Nor will looking strictly at the Multiplayer Manifest which does not account for duplicates. This also does not take into account the difference between Spectre/PSP droprates and the muddying of the numbers based on inability to distinguish between the two when looking at the manifest. This is also assuming that it is worth taking Biowares word for it that the PSP droprate is indeed higher, so far they have shown me little to believe that any sort of mechanic can be taken on faith to work as intended. Add to that that we do not know for a fact that PSP is even double the droprate of Spectre's and finally this still has absolutely no relevance to your string of luck.

It happens, if the droprate on UR was .001% it would still be possible to get the drops that you had, and that certainly would not mean that the drop rate was over 10%.

I had a streak that ran over 70 PSPs before I finally got another N7.

I doubt that's the longest.  With low drop rates, the odds of observing both the OP's luck and horrific droughts are surprisingly high.

Is it possible they increased the N7 rate on PSPs since making them permanent yesterday? I wouldn't know since I've only bought SPs for the last few weeks.

I've had a 100+ streak with no ultra rares before. Currently on a streak of 30 psp's and 30+ normal spectre packs without a weapon upgrade

Oh well at least I'm getting power reset cards.

Doubt it.  Just dropped 3 mil on the things and haven't gotten anything but character cards.

I have, till today, at least 90 rare items.  I must have opened tons of premium spectre packs (up to 12 hours ago).  Not one ultra rare drops.

Would you like to see my screenshots for proof?

I feel you man.  PSP's higher ultra rare drop rate is a false advertisement.  My friends get better luck with standard spectre packs.

Seriously, are people not starting to suspect a bug with all these 50+ PSP streaks with no N7's (with people who have maxed rares mostly I've noticed)? It just seems too freaking common to be bad luck. We're talking about a lot of people experiencing this, and it's ruining the game for many of us.
