I think you twisted my words, I said that I bought 5 PSP and got 4 N7 out of it, point of the post being chances are NOT THAT low (9% I think?), I never said N7 are "Common", I also mentioned I realized I have been lucky on a lucky roll.

They are that low, you just got very, very lucky.  This actually furthers the thought that not having everything maxed gives you a better drop rate than having everything maxed.

OP: You got lucky. It doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of players have to buy 15PSP or 30 SP to get 1 ultra rare.

Well....every day cannot be lucky. My luck has been pretty bad with the psp's. But this monday the RNG god's were smiling on me i suppose.I spent 6 mln credits on 60 psp's & got 16 N7 cards including my much awaited black widow (I & II in back to back packs). Now i am getting ready for another few weeks of bad luck.

To use Magic: The Gathering as an example, as it also has ultra rares that are only in a relatively small percentage of packs, you would have to go through a box and a half without an ultra rare to get the same kind of result many of us are experiencing with ME3 (to be clear, this never happens).  So no, the rates are not high by TCG standards.

Must have spent something over 10 million credits this week only on PSPs and I've gotten precisely one thing: An Indra I.

This is not an unusual rate of drops for me.  Maybe I'm just unlucky.  This theory is further supported by my levelled up Eagle.

Best gun in the game. I regularly solo gold reapers using my Eagle I and a shower Loofah (IV).

Mostly the loofah. Does more damage.

Pffft... what a noob!

The loofah is sooooooo overpowered!

You want a challenge then try to start using the dust bunny... it is the most common weapon of all! Everyone has got at least 1!

Well I get the the feeling that people who havn't unlocked everything get better luck from packs then people tht have unlocked al but the n7's. I no a few people who have got black widows level 10's but still need to unlock some of the over weapons.

I just can't wrap my head around that.  I've had all my weapons maxed for over a month (minus the week it took me to max out Resurgence stuff), and I only have 10 N7 ranks total.

yea but remember they brought the resurgence dlc out and the premuim pack back I dropped about 18 N7 weapons in a couple of days. Then when I indra came out I dropped my javelin X and black window 8 in the same pack. Not had any more N7's since got my indra to Level 2. Been over 3 days now and I play between 10-18 hours a day. Since not working at the moment.

I must be lucky too then because I bought about 5 packs (those for 60k) yesterady and I got BW II and Talon III (well and Carnifex VII which I am more delighted about).

I did get more N7 weapons than usual over the past week.

Out of over 179 gold or better cards (I have no idea how many useless Asari Adepts or Krogan Sentinals I've gotten since maxxing them out but I know it's at least 2 each), I've only gotten 5 N7's. PSP's have better chance? Hardly. The system is busted.

yea if psp had better chance you would drop a N7 with in every 10 paks you buy but you don't or it does is make you run out of equipment quicker.

I did something like 8-12 hours a day for the first month(and 42 hours straight for my two SP runs). Burnt out after that and regressed to a match or 2 every day, then less and less and stopped.
