Humanity is better than the Krogan? I think not.
Did you play project overlord? Humanity almost unleashed a rogue VI upon the universe which would have caused catastrophic destruction. A large part of humanity (Cerberus) fought for human dominance over all other races in the galaxy with no regards to the fact that the reapers were overrunning the galaxy. Humanity did not even save the galaxy like the krogan did from the rachni threat, in other words humanity has no redeeming features.

In fact I think it is pretty safe to conclude that in order for cerberus
to have at much power and ressources as we witness in the game it must
be the cast that they have huge support and lots of donators. The
research they are doing plus the army of cruisers is not excactly cheap you know.

Honestly, I only sabotaged the cure because I didn't like the idea of an unchecked Krogan horde being unleashed on the post-apocalyptic hellscape of a Galaxy we get in the off-chance we win the war. It would be the Krogan Rebellions 2, only this time we wouldn't have the means to stop them.

Now, in a time of peace, my resoning would be different. With Wrex and Bakara leading them, and the Galaxy fully prepared to fight them if things get ugly, then I would cure the Genophage.

I still have to say I find it very strange that synthesis is demonized on this board, but people are in consensus here that the genophage is okay if Wreav.

My opinion on this matter: the genophage is genocide and it should be cured - unconditionally. What they do afterwards is not your fault, it's theirs. And the council's: controlling their population - one that is demilitarized and are only marginally intelligent overall as a people - should really not be such a difficult job. Mind you, the councilors are morons, but that again is not your fault.

How's that for morality/ethics? I don't fear that imbecile Wreav.

Mordin states in Mass Effect 2 that all simulations of curing the genophage pointed towards another Krogan Rebellion, except this time Humans and Turians would be forced to destroy the Krogan race.

I'm perfectly happy with such an outcome, but I'd much rather wipe out the Krogan now while they are weak and fleetless, saving millions of Human and Turian lives.

If the Salarians had not intervened, as they still intervene, then Tuchanka would be devoid of life because of the Krogan's actions. They destroyed their own planet and their entire race with nuclear weapons far before they ever made contact with any other race. They are forced to live underground in barbaric pits because of their own actions.

Don't compare anything humanity has ever done to the barbarity of the Krogan.

Yes I'm aware. I'm also aware that there are more acts of genocides against humans by humans then the Krogans could ever dream of commiting.

Also, the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. If anything Krogans history is based on ours. For 50k years we've commited Genocide countless times, against ourselfs and any/everything else i sight.

Yeah Humans are worse. 14 Genocides (ish) to the Krogan, against A few thousand by human's.
