Lol I can understand that, It's hard to listen to negative views against your race/kind/etc. You'll naturally wana defend them, and it makes you biased, but thats not a bad thing.

I also state that if the Cold War went a different way the Earth could/would be no more. Ifs and Buts can't be used to form a far view/opinion on something.

Hate to use another WW2 remark but... "If Churchill was actually an ex-n*zi general, does that make him less of a hero?"

^A very stupid comment, but it points out how If/But's don't change facts about a person/race/nation

Churchill got his unit killed in WW1 does that make him less of a hero in ww2? would have been a better comment..

the Salarins won by the skin of their teeth..they were despreate becuase the krogans were slaughtering all of them left and right..they were butchering the homeworlds..at least they were butchering the turian homeworld. they had no choice but to use the Genophadge to succeed..So I point back to humans..this was not needed. We had the first contact war and then peace was brokered between humans and turains.  If we look at how humanity is repersented, we are ambitious and want to have our own niche in the glaxy..the krogan deep down want to fight the entire galaxy and show them that they are the strongest fighters the galaxy has ever seen..look at what they consider scientests..it is just krogans figureing out how to kill other species in new and fun ways. Which I find funny..but you get my point...Humans are desgining weapons as well but are also looking for new advances to bring our society up.

That's why I think it's better to simply kill two birds with one stone by destroying the Reapers and any hope for the genophage together.

Tbf, a large % of Human advancement comes from war. Which does make sense, if your at peace and not threatened, your not rushed to push for goals. Most advances that benefit man are bi-products from conflicts.

It's obvious we arn't going to agree on this so, may aswell agree to disagree.

But I will say this, it's still harsh/savage to punish a species for crimes commited by their ancestors. IMO, that makes the punisher more savage then those they are punishing.

did you forget Warlord Okeer, or Fortack THE Lord High Researcher of Clan Urdnot. Krogan scientist exist BUT they are few and farbetween. There was enough of them to develope Nuclear tech.

Yea its a numbers game with terrible facillites and no way to organize there reasearch..they would be unpreapered to face the another genophadge if it was inflicted a few years after the cure...

The genophage isn't genocide, it's a controlled birth rate, that's been stressed firmly in the series. There's a couple of billion Krogan on Tuchanka, and they would exist with quite a stable population if the Krogan didn't keep throwing their lives away needlessly in blood feuds and as mercenaries.

With a trillion possible Krogan births within the first twelve months of the genophage being cured, I can't help but see an issue of resources on the horizon. With violence being their bread and butter, rather than rational thought, I can't see it going well either.

As it's a game, and not real life, I have no real problem with not curing the genophage. I would be plagued with tremendous doubt if this situation was real, but all options would have to be considered. Properly. I don't think the fact that humans are nasty is an argument for either side, though.
