As soon as Wrex dies, which is quite possible to be sooner rather than later, the Krogan will be led by the strongest which will be some hot head like Wreav who goes back to the Krogan Rebellions all over again. You can just save yourself the trouble and keep them sterile.

They wouldn't kill wrex look at the codex and his speech on London  for f***s sake they consider him a savior and help the Turians so your point is invalid

Then you're making the same faulty assumptions he is. First you're assuming a culture or people can't change over time. Second you're assuming Wrex's perspective is unique amongst the Krogan. We've had a few other examples of krogan being accepting of other cultures. Eve, Charr, Thax's representative was pretty damned polite. Let's not for get that Wrex is also the Krogan leader, if he's in that position it means he has more support then resistance to his goals and motivations. Even without Wrex there's a strong possiblity peace is attainable, the possiblity is stronger he's around sure but it's not nonexistant without him.

Eve even calls Wrex a mutant saying that his perspective is unique among male Krogan.  In Me2, pretty much all of Clan Urdnot is against Wrex's ideals and are just listening because he is the strongest.  In ME3, the other leaders all try to kill him in the Hallows before Eve enters.  And while Charr is nice, he isn't going to take over after Wrex dies or is murdered.  One of the older stronger Krogan who has had centuries to build up his hate is going to be the one to lead.  It is not impossible that the Krogan will integrate into galactic civilization peacefully but Eve calling Wrex a mutant points to it being an anomaly.   I am not going to unleash the Krogan because there is a slim chance they might prove me otherwise.

Peace can last a long time but it is not indefinite, differences of opinion create conflict between existing cultures or within existing cultures no matter how civilized, Utopia is unattainable.

Peace will always get disrupted somewhere down the line before it is reestablished again, removing the Krogan doesn't create a galaxy without conflict, so destroying them all outright for that goal is cruel, unnecessary, and largely unsuccessful in achieving that goal.
