Somebody should just tell him the truth, the way they talk about EC is like Bioware saying their fans were too dumb to get their magnificent and uplifting ending so they'll have to clarify things for us dullards. They just can't handle the idea that they have a terrible ending and that the Star Child was a colossal mistake.

Can't wait for the EC to be released so I can put this behind me. But I have to say that it's hard to expect very much from the EC given what they've told us about it.

I don't know what anything means anymore.

Sometimes I feel like EC could really save the game. Other times I feel like it will just be further disappointment.

If they really are listening, I hope they take as much feedback as possible.

I understand they aren't changing the ending. But what they consider the ending is unknown. Does it mean the three choices? The effects of the three choices? The inclusion of the star child?

I can live with all this, although it's still cheap. What I really hope to see is War Assets in action (a lot) and a really nice, long epilogue scenes that reflect your choices.

I think they do. They were arrogant before but one does not simply brush aside two years of work and sixty thousand people.

But saying anything before it's released will upset at least one set of the upset fanbase.

People have already decided to be unhappy.

Bioware can say nothing to change that.

Yeah I guess they are currently stuck between a rock and a hard place.


... Still asking for feedback when the VAs are already back in the studio is slightly odd, though. Unless they are just reassuring people that they can make their voices heard.

We are being monitored, but for what? Attempting to gather information off of us, proactively, would only be truly useful for future game design; something they are unlikely to be concerned with right now. That leaves a prime opening, easily answered: They said they wanted an ending that created intellegent debate and discussion; now they desire our opinions on the EC. Our thought processes are being observed along an evolutionary path.

Chris having a personal post on HTL is nothing that can be directly attributed to Bioware. An official forum thread on BSN would be. It would only be interpreted as Bioware admitting fault with what they gave us originally in the game

Or they just can't change too much with the EC. Because they have had something else, something more planned all along. Such as a full expansion. But thats just wishfull thinking from my side

I doubt it. The question still wouldn't seem to serve any purpose.

The only thing I could think is that maybe he's gathering marketing data, so they better know how to manage expectations and how to best sell it when it arrives.
