Ah.... I see.

And if one were to want to hold this "line", where would one go?

Hold the line. Its a rallying cry to maintain support for a better mass effect 3 ending. It references one of the series most powerful moments. Virmire in mass effect 1.

I know this. But if one were to say... want to "hold" this "line".

Actually The Shepards favorite spot on the citadel is a legend in its own right. The mystery persists even today.

The entire hold the line campaign is indoctrination. We have been indoctrinated to love mass effect. We protest EA to release product so we can give them money

Well, if they'll go hardline with the atrocious RGB, then eith IT, or Noob's custom "Refusal" Ending. Or something that undoes the bullsh*t we're stuck with. Perhaps the B Dub can surprise me. Otherwise, **** it.

We'll find out how well they've been listening when the EC comes out. It's all up to them, now.

What in God's name are you playing at?

A gem indeed.
I would like to know what he meant by that? Image IPB

For people to be realistic in their requests regarding the EC?
I may want them to retcon the Startbrat completely. But I don't expect them to do so because i know it's too much work.

But I don't think that they should be asking those kind of questions.
It's hard for many people to know what is a realistic request if you know nothing about video game production etc.
Especially when people are as upset as they are now. They are just going to make demands on what they want and care nothing if it's doable or not.
Better to ask what people want. And then it's up to BioWare to pick out the implementable suggestions.

Well Chris, I'll tell you what I expect.   I expect what I want.   How about that?  BioWare has done next to nothing except spout riddles regarding expectations towards the Extended Cut.   So, naturally, people will fill the void with their own ideas, also known as desires.

So, Chris, there is no difference when expectations are unbound as they are at the moment.  Cryptic messages and one line statements aren't going to temper expectations...  and to ask what people are looking for, well you're going to get their greatest hopes --  Not some tempered low expectation compromise that takes into consideration variables consumers would have no idea about.

They are essentially fact checking what they have with what the player want. From what was read and posted their may be a possibility on the table that the ending get reworked. But other then that it's appraisal for what and where fans got lost with the endings and what they would like to see.

Which means they are at very important steps right now. Which makes me very sad.
