 I can see the Samara, Rila and Falere listening to traditional asari music, which probably sounds like classical + ambient + middle eastern music with the addition of soprano female voices singing in some mystical ancient language. Kind of like Enigma or Delerium or something

Morinth we know is a bit of a hipster and likes artsy music that "gets into your soul" or something like that. She also likes dancing to techno while getting high.

Mordin likes Gilbert and Sullivan

Aria - well, the Afterlife club wouldn't be allowed to play anything she didn't approve of right? That would be $&$%ing with Aria.

I imagine Tali listening to some futuristic/quirky quarian indie pop . Legion would also like that since he would be studying quarians. I can see all the synthetics enjoying synth music though.

Liara and Benezia of course listen to traditional asari music. Maybe they'd branch out into classical music of other species. I can see Liara enjoying some low-key singer songwriter type stuff or maybe some ambient.

Javik's music may sound really bizarre to us. I think he'd be sneaking some of our "primitive" music to sample in his private time. 

Jack : punk, metal, rap, techno, or whatever the future versions of these things are.

Garrus : the futuristic turian equivalent of cheesy 80's hair metal anthems.

Grunt : One of those metal bands where some guy screams like a demon 8 solid minutes in every song. Dimmu Borgir or something. Perfect soundtrack for killing things.I'd think all krogan music would be something like this. 

Kasumi might like classical, but I can see her, Jacob, Miranda, Kelly all enjoying mainstream pop/rock/rap/r&b etc.

It's hinted Ashley enjoys showtunes. And this may be a wildcard but I think she'd also enjoy mainstream country. Lite country. She seems most interested in genres that tell stories - poetry, showtunes - and most country music is all about a good story.

Hate to be the one to say this, but those are novels by Hemingway. I believe his search gets derailed when he's trying to find 'battlemaster humans' and winds up going for 'honored humans' and stumbles across great authors. The songs are probably inspired by the novels. Nothing to do with heavy metal, I'm afraid.

Doro/Warlock, Helix, Judas Priest, RUSH, Iron Maiden, Disturbed, Van Halen, MegaDeth, RATT, AC/DC, Whitesnake (or anything that David Coverdale sings), Skid Row, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Dio, Saxon, The Who, Eric Clapton, Cream, The Yard Birds, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Evanescence, NickleBack, Queensryche, Queen, Jimmy Hendrix, Loverboy, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaughan, OverKill, Danzig,

And some soft stuff too like, Meatloaf, Enya, Tom Petty, and of course he enjoys listening to what ever Samara is listening to.


I can see Grunt rocking out to W.A.S.P.'s Dying for the World album it's made full of rage and as Blackie put it "An album for the Soldiers to listen to while fighting.and hunting down the monsters that did this and killing them"

Javik likes Bob Marley.

Jack I suspect the music she likes, is very much like my Shepards.
