[OMG iTz R3PT4R]

After opening literally countless Specter Packs and Premium Specter Packs since the day the game came out, I still have yet to receive the Saber. I've players as low as N7 100 with Sabers...hell, a few nights ago, I saw an N7 200something with a Saber IV. I realize that your level does not matter when it coms to unlocking ultra rares, but it kinda sucks that someone less than half of my level has the weapon I've wanted since day one, let alone rank IV of the weapon I've wanted since day one.

tl;dr - I want the Saber. People lower level than me have the Saber. My luck has always been sh*tty, so I'll never obtain the Saber. I am butt-hurt...because Saber.


Edit: I obtained the M-99 Saber earlier tonight. My wait is over and I am finally happy.

It's my highest UR weapon. I prefer my paladin. I probably prefer Carn over it too.

I have a Saber and a Black Widow. I equip both on my soldier pretending I have 2 sniper rifles. =)

it barely does more damage than a carnifex X at low levels, paired with a lower fire rate, obnoxious recoil and heavy weight. Pretty bad weapon in my opinion.

I honestly only want it so that I can use it in bronze matches when I'm leveling a new character. I don't think I'd implement it into one of my main characters.

But my god...I must've opened hundreds of each pack with no luck. I was ecstatic when I got the Widow X, but then I stopped using it...now I have no weapon to look forward to using.

That might have been me^_^.  I'm N7 240 and have a Saber IV that I use with my Geth Infiltrator as a BW/Valiant replacement/substitute.  I would probably be N7 >800 if I promoted more, but never do, and have been playing MP since the 2nd week from launch.  Just keep buying PSPs and you'll eventually get one.  I still don't have a Scorpion though.

I wish i could trade my Saber for Paladin or Carnifex at least. I got this rifle after buying a couples of PSP. Dont need it at all. For now i spend ****load of credits and still didnt get Carni or Pal...

I got the Sabar while my N7 was less than 100. It is possible. I think the weapon drops are biased toward what you already have unlocked.

Saber was my 1st ultra-rare, I got it lvl5 now.

I'd gladly give you my Scorpion II, considering I've used it once...and just like the Talon, I didn't like it. >_<;

I have a Saber V, they all appeared in the first PSP week, i can say it definitely gets a lot better at higher levels but it keeps leaving enemies with tiny amounts of health (very annoying).

I think it was around the second week the game was out that I got a Saber.

Paladin is king of ultra rares. No doubt. Black widow is ok but man. Too heavy for the performance. Paladin does almost the same damage, with the same amount of shots and fire rate at HALF the weight.

That said, I've tried the Talon. I'd take the saber over it 9 out of 10 times.

Also, you're not missing out on much, my Saber V is pretty underwhelming. My paladin III is a better gun. Pretty much any of my other weapons are better. It's kinda like a jurry-rigged black widow with 8 shots.

As assault rifles go though, IMO, it's one of the best for taking down big game. Seems to induce mini-staggers quite effectively,

I know a guy who got it in his very first PSP, N7 38. He didn't even have a second character hit level 20 before he got one.

I pulled it and its in my collection of weapons that i shelf until they are upgraded, its recoil is attrocious it doesn't carry enough ammo, it weighs too much.

It and the M-11 I think are both overated.

But not my black widow, or my Talon,

I have the Paladin VIII and still don't get why people want it. Especially since they nerfed it to three shots. I opt to use the Talon VII (pure power) or Carnifex X (quick cool down/Power) over it. I just never seemed to get the number of kills or head shots I pulled off with the Carnifex
