Yeah, somehow I didn't like EDI having a body in general, though it was, in fact, a good idea. Nicely implemented too, though just not my kind of thing. (I think she also kind of sucked in combat, I'd rather have had a Krogan tank again)

She has Overload and Incinerate.  That's good enough for me.

Ya I liked her... could have had better armor options for her but whatever

Err. Her whole damn body is armour.

I have to ask for those who disliked her as a squadmate to at least take her on more than just 0-a few missions. She could have some pretty great dialogue.

I adored EDI as a squad mate, I didn't expect to, but I totally did.
She is honestly hilarious/adorable at some points.

This sums up my feelings perfectly. She adds some great bits. I ended up using her on missions more than I thought I would as a result.

I never took her on a mission. Garrus obviously needs to be by Shep's side at all times to make maximum use of his awesomeness. I took James alot early, but after Ashley and Javik came aboard, they kind of rotated in that second spot. It was hard enough choosing between those 4, so Edi (and Tali and Liara) always got left on the Normandy.

However, I liked her as a character, her relationship with Joker and her desire to understand humanity/organic life. Although, I didn't like her enough to risk dooming the galaxy by avoiding picking destroy at the end.

Yes, I liked her. I use squadmates because of their value to the story, not because they can pewpew.

Not a fan.

And why the hell is she using the body while beeing on the Normandy?

Why is she sitting in the Co-pilot's chair PUSHING buttons?!

From what I understand, it helps multi-tasking. She can do more then just one thing at a time. If you catch my drift.

;)))

Okay that's just awkard, but I believe that's actually the case. She gives some reasonings to why she's in the body. Giving it some throughally testing and whatnot. :bandit:

I adoreв Eeds in ME2 and shipped Jeff and her like crazy. I toyed with the idea of her becoming the squadmate but never thought it would be true.
Then it happened.
I was like the happiest panda ever.
Sure, her body is ridiculously sexed-up+what the above poster said, why does she use it at normandy? - but her relationship with Joker was, in my opinion, marvelously done, and she was very interesting and engaging as a character. Plus, for my vanguard, she was SUPERUSEFUL

Someone laughed at me in another thread, because I liked her so much. Image IPB Honestly, she's one of the best squaddies in ME3 for comic relief. She really enjoys giving Liara crap, so those two got a fair bit of my attention.

Edit: Be sure to take her on Javik's recruitment mission at least once.

I also enjoyed that she wasn't afraid to zing Shepard every now and then.

I loved her personality immensely.. in fact as far as comedic relief goes she was far funnier in ME3 than Joker was.. she was great. I just wasn't a fan of the extreme sexualization of her -- it was just kinda weird to me... still, she was great to talk to and I always looked forward to hearing what she had to say as well.

I think Liara and EDI were my two most used pair up until I got Tali for that reason. She's also great to bring along during the parts with Legion.

After that she had to make room for Team Dextro. Image IPB

Yeah, the outfit was...not good. I tried to pick the least offensive, and tried to picture her pretty eyes instead of...that other stuff.

My husband bought the Art of Mass Effect hard-cover book. We got it a couple of weeks before the game came out, so one day, while flipping through it, both Javik and EDI were spoiled to me (my fault for looking). I was so turned off by EDI's image in the book that I was sure I'd hate her. I was pleasantly surprised - she became one of my favorites.

I try to bring squadmates that could offer interesting and unique dialogue. I'm avoiding spoilers, but I tried to bring EDI or Tali along when doing stuff with Legion OR I would bring Liara when going to Asari places. Sometimes it worked out uniquely, sometimes not.

BUT, I thought in-mission squadmate dialogue/interaction in ME3 was improved over ME2; that wasn't a hard bar to overcome, but good nonetheless.

I loved her. I loved her character, so I liked having her around more. I used her on pretty much every mission. Her comments were always interesting or funny, and she had useful powers against shields and armour. As for her body...well, it was a bit fanboyish, but I think they got away with it. Especially as they both explained and lampooned it a lot.

Well, one of my favorite squadmates personally. She is a great support class for a number of different class types.

Would have preferred pretty much any ME2 squadmate who was sidelined to take that spot rather than EDI. She was fine in her role in the last game, in this one I never used her and was grossed out by the implications of toting around a sexy gynoid who wants to learn how to love (vomit).

She went from being one of my favorite characters in the second game to one of the many reasons I don't like ME3 and will never finish it. Oh well.

I used her a few times since I played as a solider for the first go around (still haven't played a second go around). I didn't mind her but was surprised she was used as a squadmate.

Was hoping for Kasumi or Legion for a squadmate option, but then again, I was hoping for a lot of things in ME3 that didn't happen. Such is life.

The inital idea of her as a squadmate is only bad because people, myself included wanted someone else, including Wrex, Mordin, Samara, etc.

But when my libido kicks in and I get to ogle that body of hers, and plus with the character development she brings to the table, I can like EDI as a squadmate. Frankly though I would replace her with Wrex if given a choice. Bros before Hos.

She was an awesome squad mate. My first playthrough was primarily EDI/Garrus. She had some funny dialogue every now and then too.
