This is true. I've also speculated over this regarding their immune system. I don't think that 300 years is enough for their immune system to collapse. Sure it can get very weak. But not totally non-existent as we are led to believe.

And besides, both their suits and bodys have advanced cybernetics. It makes sense that they could at least integrate some kind of system in the suits that stimulates the immune system to keep it from getting weak in the first place.

1: When the question popped into my head, I didn't think of her probe, and even if I had, my question would have only changed to 'Did her probe take the pic, and if so, can it actually take pictures that lean towards artistic framing?'
That doesn't answer when it was taken though, and seeing as she's not in her suit -at all- in the pic, it seems a mistake that is worth questioning. The game doesn't give any indication we were on Rannoch long enough for her to randomly take off her suit and get her probe to take a pic (and we can assume that if it was a spur of the moment thing, Tali would in fact be naked). In addition, exposing herself to the elements so competely would be incredibly stupid.
And if it wasn't taken on Rannoch, then where?

2: I meant why, with her entire life spent in a suit, would her pigmentation be so healthy-looking, and then I gave a possible reason to why this is the case. Not really something that matters, and I didn't simply mean why does she have pigment, though I admit my question was vague.

3:The hair being cleaned by the suit is fine, though I'd still expect it to either be slightly matted, or just generally not be so lovely.

Do any of you guys pay attention at all? Tali herself said that they can be out of their suits for very short periods of time without dying from infection. And to the person that posted the DA photo of Tali, no just no. Tali should NEVER look that ugly ever.

I'm not sure how cybernetics integrate in the future, but I know that in the present day anything in the body that's seen as alien by your immune system would be combated by it. This is why when someone has a transplant, they have to pretty much kill the immune system until it's been accepted (and even then it can be rejected at a later point). With their extensive cybernetic upgrades, I can imagine it being a more constant strain on the immune system, which would leave it compromised anyway. In addition, they're in those suits from the birth, and if their immune system is already in such a state, then simulating viruses would not be a good idea. 

That's just my thought on it though. I could be wrong.

The issue I pointed out was that she appears to be naked in the picture. And I don't care what the game says with regards to it being safe to leave the suit for short periods. There's no guarantee in a climate that's not free from bacteria that you would be perfectly safe. If someone coughed or sneezed anywhere near her in that short 'safe' moment, she'd quite likely die. If their immune system is so poor they have to wear suits, then why at any time risk it? If the suits can 'cleanse' bacteria, then their immune system issues seem rather moot anyway.

I don't even want to imagine what a human STD could do.

And... I dont think Tali looks ugly in that pic. She looks wrong more than anything, most notably the earlobes being so elongated seems weird. The features though are too human to be ugly. I do agree that the strange prong things seem odd, but ugly? No. A baboon's arse is ugly.

Yes a baboons ass is ugly but that pic of Tali is just as ugly, I can actually look at a baboon without wanting to puke. Imagining Tali looking like that makes my stomach turn. As for the someone sneeze in the vicinity of her while she is out of her suit who said an organic took the photo? You do realize her combat drone can do other things as well right? Btw I'm sure in the year 2185 all human STDs have been eradicated.

Idk if you noticed or not but tali isnt a human shes a quarian. Who knows what she actually looks like under her mask apparently bioware doesn't either cuz they just shopped a stock photo. Literally ANY fanart is better than ehat we fot they couldn't have handled this in a worse way.

Someone doesn't read the codex in game where it clearly states "quarians are the most human like having two eyes, lips and hair" btw I paraphrased there as I'm at work and can't check the actual text so yes we do have an idea of what she looks like and what she doesn't look like is that hideous picture that the dude posted from DA.

There are plenty of us left.  If anything, our ranks (and love for Tali) are stronger than ever.  Personally, I'm fine with what was used; I just think they could've done a better job in Photoshop.  Considering the talent we've seen from the Bioware team, the poor quality of that 'shop was inexcusable.  The use of a stock photo as the basis for her image could've been overlooked entirely if the artists had made a better effort.

I wouldn't even mind a bit of weirdness, after all the Quarians are a bit quirky. Not Turian as they are not avian. But a similar skin-type would be cool.

But as long as it reflects the fundamentally different DNA and evolutionary process I'm fine with whatever the artists come up.

They did a great job with Jarvik. His face is awesome. Why not with one of the most important characters of the trilogy?!

You know my expectations were fairly low regarding the reveal. I had no problem with them looking similar to humans given we could see some humanoid features beneath Tali's mask and I think the previous games mentioned them looking similar to us. Zero issues with them having hair as I always imagined Tali having hair or something like it. Plus another species was bound to actually have hair like humans. Turians had fringes like Asari for example.

But even with such lowered expectations the badly shopped stock image was pretty pathetic. I've seen fan art that had Tali look human (even with hair) and yet still very alien. They seriously didn't have any professional artists who could even come close to artwork done for fun? A picture instead of an in-game model was already a cop-out but a lazy photoshop showed they really didn't care.

I cant accept that they honestly thought this looked presentable, i just cant believe it. This is the kind of stuff of worst case scenarios, but sadly this is exactly what we got. Oh how the mighty have fallen. What happened bioware?? You mad all these awesome imaginative species but you couldnt make one more? Especially for such an important character? Ehat were you thinking?!

Actually, I wouldn't have a problem with Tali looking "too human" if it was obvious that Bioware put actual effort into it... but they didn't. They used the "we wanted Tali to have a celebrity base like Miranda or Samara" argument at PAX, but they didn't really give her that. If that was truly their intent, they would have created an in-game model using Liz Sroka as the base.

No, Bioware. The current reveal seems too much like an afterthought that was given an effort of 30 minutes.
