I didn't want to Necropost this thread so I'll start a new thread.

If you take Shield Wall + Shield expertise you are supposed to be immune to direct knock down but I've notice that this isn't always the case. Some attacks that the 2H Indomitable prevents you from being knocked down for, the Shield Wall doesn't. Such as the Ogre or Golem slam or the animal's Overwhelm. With Indomitable you get "Immune" appear above your head yet with Shield Wall you get knocked down or "Resisted" above your head.

Overwhelm is a bit of a grey area but it is still a direct knock down attack.

I've noticed with the SW + SE combo you get knocked down quite a bit and never see an "Immune" message but not all knock down attacks are from direct attacks. It just seems odd that you can get one talent very early, i.e. Indomitable, that makes you immune to any knock down and stun yet there's another that you need to take two much higher level talents to achieve less than half the effect. Was that intended?
