The real problem here is the coaleaced file being able to influence online play, and that joining a random game can put someone into this position in the first place.
This.
Might not be all that easy as things like PunkBuster or VAC (why is there no Origin Anti-Cheat yet anyway?) only work with protected dedicated servers but there's got to be a way to at least make it harder, right?
OP should appeal their ban, BioWare seem to be reasonable enough about this.

Also a ton of hypocrites in this topic. If he contacted customer support and they never replied I'm sure a lot of the flamers in here would have spent the credits too.
EA/Bioware even introduced a new contact mail adress for such things. You can be sure they'd respond to such an issue. It might take them some time.
And I certainly wouldn't spend the credits after opening an issue about it.

Saying he deserves the ban is like saying someone who gets the immortality bug in me3 deserves to be banned if he doesn't leave the game.
No, it is not.
Immortatility bug means you're sure to finish a match you might have finished anyway, gaining some credits you might have gained anyway.
'Earning' 6,000,000 credits with a single match and then spending it, however, means you actively benefited from cheating.
The spending of the credits is the point here.
A ban for simply joining (and even completing) an illegal match would not be warranted. A ban for knowingly spending credits earned in an illegal match would.
Addendum: If OP did mail the support and just wasn't patient/persistent enough to get an answer, I'm ok with a lift, though. No harm done.

If what the OP says is true and that he did in fact notify Bioware with no response, then what else could he do? Not buy anything?

Ask a mod for starters. They always respond in time and are able to offer further help. There is a mail adress specifically for cheating and ban issues. There are several ways to contact support and I have yet to experience a support inquiry not being answered.Sovereign24 wrote...

Fun fact: Last time I contacted BioWare support with an issue via mail I got an answer within 9 minutes. And it was a rather specific question that had to be answered individually and not via template.

I dont know if was a cheat that day, I contact bioware but they dont say nothing, so I spend it.
So I want My game back !!!
You shouldn't spend the cash, and should keep trying to contact them. I hope they fix it for you, but it was your mistake. Anyway, it's lame that they didn't answered, this should be taked seriously. How you contacted them?
considering the number of topics of people banned, I think Bioware started some kind of clean up operation. Nice..

I wait a week. Today I have no answer yet from the two emails I send that day.

Legitimate banning.
If you spent the credits, you deserve the ban.
If 6 million stolen dollars in a suitcase was left at your door and you spent it all knowing that it was stolen, you can be sure you would've been arrested.
it was left in his wallet, I'm sure the 6 million owner is a troll..

If I were a cheater and they had caught me, I would not say anything. But I never use a cheat in an online game. And I am very angry. I consider this very unfair.
Try to PM the moderators, send message to everyone related to Bioware, send message to god if you are feeling religious. Someone will answer you.
I don't think they can help, but try EA support too.

What the OP did was spend credits which he knew or ought to have known were proceeds from cheating. Bioware should have banned him for this reason instead.

I mean, even if you started spending the credits, then realized something was wrong, AND contacted them a few days after getting the credits, the ban should be lifted.
It's a dick move I know, but it might help if you provided them with the name of the hosts, if you remember.

Ruben hasn't cheated in any way, he is a victim. The only thing he did wrong was spend the credits. Why? Because he didn't know they were illegal. He contacted Bioware about the issue but they didn't asnwer.
I have played with him several times and I can asure you all, that he doesn't cheat or have cheated before. I take very seriously this kind of stuff and I don't play with cheaters, I report them.
Ruben hasn't cheated, he doesn't deserve a ban.

Edit: Bioware needs to get that giant stick out of its ass and realize that no matter what, you can't stop the inevitable.
