JAD, how would you even know?

He is a liar. The hacked games don't pay after the game. They pay at the same times as normal games. I know, I have had to leave a couple.

So now we should believe the joke of an excuse from a liar? I hope he stays banned just for crying to us about it.

I never was a host !!! how can I do it man? I'm not a wizard !!!!

I dont care about someone getting 6million credits and buying guns. It aint like they took my guns. I just hate leeches. That's what needs the fix

Ask a mod for starters. They always respond in time and are able to offer further help. There is a mail adress specifically for cheating and ban issues. There are several ways to contact support and I have yet to experience a support inquiry not being answered.

Fun fact: Last time I contacted BioWare support with an issue via mail I got an answer within 9 minutes. And it was a rather specific question that had to be answered individually and not via template.

You millage may vary.

Customer support can often take very long is my experience. I've had no experience with Bioware/Origin/EA, but if the guy sat on it for a week and still didn't get an answer, what are you supposed to think as a customer.
The guy might have been naïve about the credits, but that's really no reason to berate and belittle him.

So lets see..did the 6 million credits happen all in one shot...or did it accumulate during several matches without exiting the game?

You don't have to be host to take advantage of cheating Ruben. This is a simple concept, liar.

Permaban sounds way too harsh.

Also a ton of hypocrites in this topic. If he contacted customer support and they never replied I'm sure a lot of the flamers in here would have spent the credits too.

How can you possibly be sure of the way another would react to this situation?

how can you justify calling anyone a hypocrit without any evidence supporting your claim?

the fact of the matter is, the op knew the credits were an anomaly, or they would not have sent the message to Bioware. Another point you failed to consider. We only have the op's word that he contacted bioware. As I stated in the last locked topic on this type of issue, You either trust Bioware's judgement or not. You are rushing to the op's defense with only one side of the story.

Newsflash for you , people who get caught cheating tend to embellish the facts in thier favor.

Legitimate banning.
If you spent the credits, you deserve the ban.
If 6 million stolen dollars in a suitcase was left at your door and you spent it all knowing that it was stolen, you can be sure you would've been arrested.

It's funny when people try to compare a gamer to a criminal. It's just virtual money, and 6 mil creds translates to ~200$, not 6 million..

Even then, you wouldn't get a life sentence for spending that kind of stolen money, while the OP got a permaban. This all just stinks of Bioware's and EA's greed forcing him to pay for another game if he ever wants to play MP again, which I doubt he really wants anyway. This could've been properly handled by:

1) Temporary ban.
2) Account reset.
3) Account rollback to pre-hack conditions, provided they have proper server logging. This should be a no-brainer on any half-decent provider, but I wouldn't hold my breath in this case.

6M credits are around 200$, if you do that many times, you should go to jail, not just banned ;-)

Also if people do not care about others stealing credits, all those credits could be dev time for new awesome ME content :-)

Again, it tells you how much it is paying you, even in hacked games. You can leave and not take the credits. This should happen after round 3. Excuses are lame. Cheaters get banned. I like BioWare even more now that I see them putting work in.

No native english speaker.

Sorry not all foreigners speak and write fluent English. Maybe accept that fact, before you start spouting complete and utter non-sense.

Also it's "you" not "ypu". :P

He might not have noticed it during the game. I know I barely ever watch the pay out after an objective
At least you are schooled in all the ways you can cheat.
There's no way someone could have coded it so that the pay out is upped afterwards or the pay out is hidden during the game? I mean you are the master coder who knows all the cheats.

I don't think he deserved to be banned. Bioware should just completely reset his multiplayer (remove all items, weapons, characters, and upgrades that he unlocked from packs)

Come on OP, did you really recieve 6 million credits and somehow think they belonged to you? Seems like a case of wilfull ignorance to me. You knew the credits were illegal but spent them anyway because you thought that your sob story would have legs if you were ever caught.

I'd say a permaban is more than a bit harsh here, but I don't for a second believe OP is innocent in this aside from not being the one who actually glitched the game. A two week ban or something of the sort would have sufficed, however.

This is a trap that many seemingly 'legit' gamers probably would have fell for. But in those situations, the onus is still on that person to do what's right, no matter how tempting it is to do otherwise. So while I do think it is unfair for this kind of punishment to be handed out, let's not pretend OP was just an innocent victim in all of this. Nobody can be that naive to believe the credits given to them were legitimate.

HIs word, and mine, he contacted BIoware about the issue, he didn't cause it and he doesn't deserve the ban

Poison, then don't spend them. If they can't speak English, go to the Spanish forums. Don't come here and call others stupid as you type like a two year old.

Really?  You're comparing the complete loss of someone's freedom for a number of years and subsequent criminal record for life and all the associated impact that will have to being unable to play one online game that'll probably have a shelf-life of 6 months at most.

He spend them because He didn't get an asnwer from BIoware about the issue. How many times do I have to say it man? READ THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING.

I get out of here, I'm tired already.
