I contacted you back before you removed these links and asked you specifically if these could be featured on the main page of the Maleshep page, because they were JUST THAT GOOD.
Before I could get around to it, which granted took me a week or two (I'm busy too), you removed the links. I'd been scratching my head for ages, because I had found them via DeviantArt and was not aware of this thread, but I found it a while ago and had to go back to comment.

I get it, I do, I'm a modder myself, I have projects with hundreds of downloads and ZERO comments, but that will never move me to take them down, because it doesn't mean it didn't make people happy.

I went out of my way to contact you, to ask and offer to feature your mod, to support it, and looking at this thread so did others. You are not only letting yourself suffer for the disinterest of some, you're letting your supporters suffer too. Why would you do that?

Do you think any of us aren't bothered by the disinterest of most people? Sure we are! But what's the point in taking the whole thing down?
If the continued interest of people months after you've taken this down isn't enough to sway you, I honestly donot understand you.

I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh, I really do. I'\\m not the first to have said this either, but as much as I can understand the disappointment, you are the one now disappointing.

People are @ssholes, they just are, if the 5% that aren't aren't worth it, nothing is ever worth doing.

Yeah Ottemis you said it just right really well done, spoken really well! I really really appreciate your mods i love them and you have improved a lot! I really need to try out your recent ME2 mods, and i feel the same way too but you do it for others and for the sake of improving the textures that aren't done correctly when the game is released.

@ Ottemis and the other modders - speaking for a vast group of one, sincerely appreciate the work on these mods - and from time to time I've tried to convey that - but to the OP, remember that PC users make up only a very small percent (balanced of course by our undisputed status as Master Race) - and that I, at least supposed that you modders are doing this because a) it tickles you to do so, can be cleverly included in professional portfolio come job seeking/switching time, and c) want show up/impress some unnamed individual of the same or opposite gender...applause from the cheap seats being only a secondary consideration.

As for moi, I am not using the mods right now because I intend to use WV's & and Salty's ME1,2,3 explorer to permanently mod the games once bw is finished dlcing and updating, which has a nasty tendency to reset all that hard work to zero, and semi-ditto for MEHEM - as I can't seem to break away from MP long enough to start a NG+ (note to self -do so before citadel) and loading the max through texmod still takes forever...anyway thanks sincerely for all this and it is appreciated...

well mesh replaces are permanent, but you can pretty much use any mesh for it. Btw this mod only affects the hair in combat (outfit), in casual, she still has the normal hair mesh

I know that people that don't say thanks generally don't even do this because they simply don't care to. More often then not it's because people simply forgot, never do it, don't realize the amount of effort involved (logical) etc etc.
Unlike other mediums the action (not the thought) of saying thanks is very un-natural with mods, because it requires you to come back to the source after you've checked and used the mod in question. Means if you lost the link, you're hampered in this as well. Other then for instance drawing a picture and sharing it on deviantart, where people can judge the work and comment/like in the same movement and instance.

The ratio of download/thanks here is absolutely abominable because of all these reason together and apart, and so many  many many more. Still, rationally knowing something like that doesn't change the fact it will disappoint, especially because the average 'good' mod, takes days if-not weeks to create and perfect and is a full-time effort.

As much as this could be and often is something we do for ourselves as modders, for me personally I really wouldn't be taking the effort ifnot for the appreciation of others.
Having said that, my opinion of people in general may not be stellar, I didn't mean to come across as having said that 'everyone that doesn't say thanks is an @sshole', because that is not how I feel. Just wanted to clarify.

Apology for not being able to offer my MOD here or elsewhere. Surprising that this thread still gets some comments. ^-^

Once again, I don't plan to contribute further to the community and as a creator of this mod, I like to have this one rest in peace. As for the reason of discontinuation and removal, I have nothing to add besides what I've mentioned before, but I will ask politely NOT to share this MOD further. If you happen to own this, please enjoy it personally.
