The left is with both the complexion AND hair mod, the right is just with the hair mod.
EDIT: I'm just using the diffused pack here. Do I need to use both the normal and diffused for full effect?

The only thing about Type Mark that gets me is that the stubble really doesn't show up on my Shepard's skin that much. Any idea what I need to do?

Seems like it's not working at all. Have you tried switching the complexion bar?
My guess is that you may have complexion 1 selected but loading C2 or C3 via TEXMOD.
I'd advise loading both diff+normal to get maximum effect as normal map has most influence over facial.

I have. I have the left picture here set on C2 and the right one on C1 (default complexion). The face is much smoother with the Mark face, and it's a bit more realistic. But no stubble or anything.
EDIT: I have Mark diffused on C1 and C2, and Kaidan normal on C3. Seems there is no change, really. :/

Can you write down the tpf file you loaded in texmod? This may have nothing to do but which hardware do you use ATI or NVIDIA?

And the tpf file I used was: "C2_Type_Mark_Diff.tpf"

OK, gotcha, So the difference between my environement is ATI and NVIDIA. Could be the similar issue with file format that happend on the scar texture earlier. In any case I'll investigate, thanks for reporting and sorry for the inconvinience.

That's kinda strange, though. Because all the other texmods I have downloaded work just fine.Sazaesang wrote...

UPDATE: I put all complexions in my texmod folder and loaded them up. Normal and diffused Mark for C1, Normal and diffused James for C2, and normal and diffused Kaidan for C3. There were no changes to the complexions whatsoever, it only gave the in-game complexions instead.

So there's definitely a textire loading problem. For diffuse texture, I may know the solution but Normal map is problematic.I think I'll wait a bit and gather more reports from the user to figure out the problem.

Which preset is this? I'm having a little difficulty to your question...^-^;
it's the cerberus soldier face, a gibbed preset. the one with the three glowing scars and the black and all that.. the one you see in-game at the very last scene of priority: sur'kesh.
the one in the picture I posted earlier

When you apply my scar preset, the Centurion Soldier will look similar to how it look on your Shepard. So it will be missing one glow.n0l4n wrote...
and just to clarify, am I just supposed to pick a tpf file and load it with texmod and it will simply apply to my shep or is there more to do ?
The head enhancment mod should only require Texmod, no need for Gibbed.

Only contains Type Mark for complexion 1. I doubt this would fix but I'm giving it a try to narrow down possible cause.

Type James... Excited.
It seems I have the same problem as Catarsi Sol has. I used the type James c3 and no effect with the normal map. No effect with diffuse map. No effect when those two are combined.
I was using the complexion 3 in the character creator. So the problem lies elsewhere.

OK, Thank you.
So now both of my theories might have been proven wrong. Very confusing as my environement, I haven't experienced TEXMOD refusing to load them.
Meantime one thing I'm sure is that this one can take some time to investigate and to be completely honest I have no idea fixing this one. I only have 1 PC and would require an environement for further investigation.
Sorry for this problem, I didn't expect this at all and wouldn't have shared it if I knew this would come.

There is a Texmod group on here that may be able to help if need be.
