I don't even think he read it to be honest with you. He probably got to the part about Art Garfunkel and left. That's okay though. By silencing it he made a martyr of the topic.

People have also told me that they have recorded the topic so deleting it won't make any difference. I see no need to pursue it any further. He did this himself.

I'm more inclined to believe that my thread was a victim of the ban hammer this morning rather than any sort of planned strike.
