To me, it's just ambient sounds of people laughing around the crew deck..

That was why it struck me as odd, you usually filter anything below 30Hz or so, since it uses a lot of energy and most consumer audio can't produce it well anyway.TeffexPope wrote...
Could be a bit of an easter egg type thing, since infra-sound is part of indoctrination.

Whenever Shepard is not within line of sight, the Normandy's female crew are all over him.

I was like O.o cause I never noticed it.
IT has to be true, even she was hearing it. And she's does not play many games, and knows nothing of the ending.

Well, Rocksteady did something like this in Arkham City.matthewmi wrote...
I know folks don't like the end but wow IT believers this is getting silly. Measuring sound frequencies etc...do you really think anyone would spend time hiding sounds in the background? This is a nice example of confirmation bias.
Through your radio you could recieve a crypted message only in a very small area and you had to use many different codes to uncryped it and get the location of a secret room, where you could find some hints for the next game. I´am pretty sure BioWare noticed this.
The question is, did BioWare planned this all from the beginning? Since it make no econimical sense to release an unfinished game, the IT breaks down for me on this point, but I still use it for my headcanon. The evidence are just to strong for me.
Good catch there from the OP, even if I heard radio chatter on one of the youtube links, instead of laughter, which is pretty normal for on a military ship.
BTW, the theory, that the Reaper IFF is an indoctrination device on the Normandy is as old as the IT itself

Two clips are laugh tracks with someone shouting stand back. One of them sounds like something I can't place though.Nyila wrote...
The sounds I heard around the crew deck weren't the same as the kid's laughter. Or maybe they are and I can't hear that, I don't have anything to enhance the sound, sorry.

The laughter I heard is not this one. It was a child's laughter...
If I ever hear it again I'll be sure to record it.
Edit: Also I recommend touring the 1st floor where Shep's quarters are, it was there I heard the footsteps and the laughter. (but again the sounds are random and you may not hear it....)
There is a guy who walks all the time on the second floor and if he is near to the elevator while you are using it, then you can hear his footsteps in Shep's cabin.

Wow, I've got to give the 2 of them credit for endurance then. Although some of the noise seemed to come from med bay too. I wonder what Chakwas, Mordin and Eve are up to at these hours.
I've also heard rumours of Traynor stalking random female crew members, although no one came out to complain. Then last time I went down to hangar bay, Cortez and Vega were nowhere to be seen, but the Kodiak seemed to be vibrating rythmically. Probably an indoctrination device inside.
