Rome Total War main menu theme

Medieval II Kingdoms Brittania main menu theme

Doom on PS1 had an amazing soundtrack so I'll only name a couple : Level 9 and 21

Theophany's "Time's End" Majora's Mask remix album comes to mind, particularly Terrible Fate, Lover's Mask, and Time's End.

I can't think of a whole lot of good games with good soundtracks that have come out recently.

Ty for the contribution, your track is added to the OP, but what you said i completely disagree with. You should start take a listen to the recent years fantastic game's soundtracks, such as Dragon Age: Origins and then tell me if you still feel you can't think of a whole lot of game OSTs.

Sorry for i did'nt edit the OP as promised yesteday btw guys:( i had to keep working on something for hours i just finished today, after over 42 hours of deleteing and editing it was insane. Next time i will just say i'll post your future tracks you contribute to the thread, when i have the time/can.

I meant specifically in the past nine months or so before the thread necro. ;) And I also didn't mean that there aren't any, just that I can't think of many. Though the Black Mesa source mod that came out last September also has a pretty good soundtrack IMO, if that counts.

But I'd definitely agree with you about the MGRR soundtrack being fantastic.

Here's a few more recommendations...

Fire Emblem Awakening - Divine Decree (Ablaze)

The entire Summoner soundtrack is delicious, but my favorite is Iona. Actually that changes daily...
Again, whole soundtrack = delicious.

@TheJediSaint That IS true... perhaps Barber intended it to be Adagio for Space Chorus originally, but lacked the funding, so stuck with plain ol' strings.
