In ME2, you can convince her to either break it off or get back together with that krogan Charr. So far all I've seen on youtube are vids of the Dying Krogan Message quest with the player having convinced them to get back together in ME2.

I suspect her response is the same. I totally forgot to check that when I played my <1000 EMS game. I'll have to load up and check.
Her conversation with the buyer is different, though. There's no mention of her having a partner at all. (I guess Charr was always the only one for her.)

WOW, talk about cutting corners man, holy cr@p. I always wondered this myself, but in ME2 I've never been able to tell Ereba to dump good ol' Charr. Even with my Shep that I made to go and p!ss off as many people as he could. I've never been able to do that.
Kinda like I've never had Wrex die, Never chose Morinth over Samara and finished a ME2 playthrough with Samara dead. I've never been able to leave Ashley down on Virmire, and I've never let David Archer stay with Cerberus, he always goes to Grissom Academy.

Just did this myself now. So her dialogue before turning in the message is a little bit different in that when talking to her customer, she doesn't mention Charr as her husband off and fighting somewhere.
When you hand the message in to her however her reaction is about the same (she's still upset, etc).

There wasn't really much to do different with Ereba's text. Charr's lines are different, though, that's what matters. So cutting corners? I disagree.gearseffect wrote...

I always had them break up, by the way, after seeing how uncomfortable Ereba seemed on Tuchanka. But since she has moved to the Citadel in ME3 anyway, well, I guess I can convince her to hook up for real with him in future playthroughs.
