stop insta kicking. its annoying, selfish, rude and a childish. just cos somebody rolls with gear or class you dont like should not give you the right to kick. if thr is genuine reason say something. pm if needs be but dont just insta kick. and by all means kick leachers or idiots after a match but before the damn thing even starts is just wrong. regardless of what person x wants to run with thats his/her call. i shouldnt have to be forced to switch to my SI because thats what YOU deem acceptible. if you are that up your own a#* that you cant play a game without it being the most important thing in the world, set the game to private. thats what its there for. if im sh*!t then so be it, if he/she is s*!t then so be it, if your that good it shouldnt make a diff if you have to carry one guy/girl. you never know, that one vangaurd you dint s!*t on may just pull YOUR ass out the fire.  to BW, i would suggest an imunity to new players in a room. a kick option after the match sure, but before is stopping a lot of peeps playing how they want to.

Easy answer.

Stop bronze players infecting gold.

There should be a kind of license test before youre allowed to play gold.
To be allowed to play silver you have to solo 3 rounds of bronze. To play gold you have to solo 6 rounds of silver.

That should easily separate the retards from the people that deserve to be playing gold.

OP, I understand your frustration, I do. Getting kicked sucks.

I never kick unless it's REALLY called for as follows:

1) Complete noob in Gold, like N7 1, Human Soldier level 1. And before I kick I explain over mic that they need to set the random match screen to Bronze and give that a few tries first because Gold is very hard.

2) Won't. Freaking. READY. Had to kick someone out of 2 consecutive lobbies last night: first lobby the leader just wouldn't ready for minutes on end. No activity, not changing classes or weapons, just totally AFK. So we kicked them after a long time of this, new lobby, someone new joined as the 4th and WOULD NOT READY. What the heck? How to you join and then do nothing? Again, wasn't changing loadout or anything, just total non-activity for 4, 5 minutes. Kicked.

But back to you, OP - I doubt you're getting kicked for not readying and I doubt you're totally new, so this is some Gold elitism. Sometimes I understand it. It's frustrating to go game after game with poor teammates and some people react by getting elite.

What's your character/loadout? That can often be the main issue.

Also, PC/Xbox/PS3?

I actually have an elitist friend, and when I do play with him, he kicks people because of N7 rating or weapon setup. 

But when I do stop him from kicking a number of people so I can actually play, there are those times we do end up losing, so I can relate to those elitists.

Honestly, as someone else pointed out already - it's the weekend that forces this. Many bronze and silver players is charging the gold lobby as if their lives depended on it, and believe they got something to prove in addition to completing the squad goal.

I was getting voted out of a lobby earlier today by people with crappy loadouts, no equipment and such a low n7 rating I sincerely doubt they've had much experience with the game. Why? Not sure, perhaps they felt intimidated, assumed that I was going to be an elitist ****** or were just trying to come off as cool to friends or the like.

My point is, don't mind them - because in the end, knowing they were like that, would you find the match itself to be any fun aware of the fact you were playing with that kind of team?

Highlighted the 3 important bits. You kind of answered your own questions why you were kicked.

1) If you're sh!t, why should I play with you? You want me to waste 20 minutes of my time and consumables playing with a bad player? So i should LIKE losing? I like my games successful, stress free, with everyone pulling their weight, over in 20 minutes tops with 75k credits to show for, thanks.

2) "You never know". Exactly. For all I knew you could be cooler or rapha behind that screen. For all I know you could also be a semi-blind dog with 1 leg and a quarter of a brain. I dont know. Therefore I will kick you if your loadout suggests to me that you are a bad player and more likely to be a semi-blind dog with 1 leg and a quarter of a brain, who's going to need a revive every 10 seconds.

3) Well, I want to play a nice, smooth game. You're stopping me from doing that. See the fail logic behind what you just said? If you are obese and get rejected by Barcelona are you going to rant that they are preventing you from playing anyway you want to? If your resume/grades are bad, are you going to rant to your interviewer that you dont deserve that rejection? 

I have no way of knowing if you are a good player or a bad player. So if you appear to me as a bad player, I will kick you.

Its to show that someone can handle the higher difficulty, extraction on silver doesnt do that.
Also, its possible to leech your way through it.

You shouldn't take it personal, If someone kicked you and you feel that you're adequately equipped for gold then so be it, just search again and I'm sure you'll find a group. I really wouldn't want to be part of a persons team like that anyway.

Now if you aren't equipped for Gold and it's obvious you won't be able to contribute then I guess I can understand. Personally, I feel like sometimes the person behind the computer/console can play a larger role than the gear/setup they're rolling with.

But then again, most people that know what they're doing will be setup in a way that shows....

Kicking is good. It saves brain cells and time of 4 people (get kicked and don't suck deep for don't know how many minutes before wipe).

I use strange and experimental setups only after play the first game with the team or if the teammates are my friends. Joining the lobby with your "very cool roleplay setup" is asking for kick. Prove that you're solid and reliable THEN change class.
