N7 of less than 200 unless they have a cool name or -200% weight = insta kick sorry buddy but I am not gonna carry you through a match!
N7 of 150 here btw, promoted once for the achievement and never again. Still wondering how long it'll take people to realise that judging people based on a number that can quite easily stagnate for a long time at a rating as low as 20 is just retarded.
true. n7 is meaningless. time played or chars promoted does not = skill.
A high grade, top class honours and a full resume do not = ability. But an employer will always hire a person that has ticked the checkboxes over one that has not. Why are you expecting the benefit of the doubt? I can replace you instantly by kicking you, and chances are that I will get someone with a more efficient build than yours who signals to me that they are not a deadweight.
Read my point : YOU might know you are a good player and can handle yourself as vanguard with a low level weapon. I DONT know, and CANNOT know that. Wasting 10 minutes wiping is a cost to me. I am not willing to incur that cost. Kicking you takes very little time and I am certain I can find someone who is more likely to not be a failure.
It seems quite fitting that your analogy is based around employment, as that's essentially how you make the game sound. "Wasting" 10 minutes wiping is of no cost to you whatsoever other than a loss of ingame credits.Terraflare wrote...

I just logged into the game and started kick votes against three random players in three different lobbies, just to punish OP for creating this thread.

if YOU dont wanna run with said player because of loadout that is YOUR prerogative. just say something first and it could be resolved nicely. as stated before if action is not taken bya all means, kick.

It's irrelevant whether you know if the lower levelled person is good or not, as simply by kicking them you are showing that you do not want a challenge. If you don't want a challenge and don't want to test yourself then why are you even playing the game? Just to amass credits?

I just had a 1000+ N7 join my gold Reaper Benning map with a level 13 SI and a Talon I. We asked him to change to a stronger character and he ignored us. Thought of kicking him but thought we would give it a go. He sucked. He kept overloading my BE warps on Brutes and Banshees and kept getting killed. I told him to stop using overload on armored enemies (or at least stop following me). He ignored us.
We kicked him after getting creamed at wave 5. He was last with about 5000 points. Moral of story? Insta-kick people who you have a bad feeling about...they can go create their own room.

1) How so? I dont like losing. I dont like wiping. I like to win. Maybe I only have 30 minutes a day after work to enjoy myself. Having to carry a scrub and/or wiping is not enjoyable. Maybe YOU find enjoyment in losing, sure. Maybe YOU like to struggle for 50 minutes and still utterly fail. Good for you, others wont, why should you expect the host of the game to like losing?
2) So you acknowledge that you, by being bad, or bringing a 'bad' loadout into a game, makes the game more challenging for everyone. Again, do you think about the other 3 players when you do this? The analogy to this argument is like stating "Barcelona should just run with 8 players instead of 11, because they really should enjoy the challenge of playing handicapped instead of using their cookie cutter setup and winning all the time."
If you have fun creating artificial challenges for yourself, sure, be my guest. Go host a solo game and run with a level 1 vanguard using just a predator. I'd never stop you from doing that even if I could.
Oh, really? So team would not have much lesser chance to win the match if you'd be using arc pistol I vs gold reapers with no mods and no equipment?BERT AND ERNY wrote...

Anyway biotic users on Gold should be able to realize that the first throw actually detonates Tech Burst and do another Throw to detonate Biotic Explosion. It may be annoying at times, but its not runing anything, its slowing down at worst.
I have seen too many people brainlessly doing the Warp > Throw combo even on Gold - I detonate their Warp using Reave and I would expect them to use another Warp to set up another explosion and instead they do the Throw...

I got kicked once...I proceeded to solo the same thing I was in just for the heck of it.
moral of the story: Don't kick me. I am better than the rest of you combined.
Take it easy though. Quite often, in the heat of battle, these "brainless" people are simply not sure which target was detonated - and throw is very short cooldown and deals some damage, as well as stagger things (even some big things, like brutes). Other times, there are 3 or 4 biotic users, and "brainless" people just can't be sure if there is a warp on the target already-again, or not - so they throw just in case. And tech bursts you mentioned - could be a reason too. And last but not least, there is a rhytm some good adepts/sentinels developed; like, warp-shoot-shoot-throw-shoot, rinse repeat. They are just much used to it, you know. Can't blame them, the loss in killing speed - if any, - is not big anyways.uzivatel wrote...
