some people i've seen in silver matches playing an asari vanguard, and yeah using a sniper have actually played very well, i might find it unusual but who am i to judge a persons preference, why should they be any less entitled to play than me, i give everyone a chance to see how they play, if they really are that bad, it just means they need practice, which im happy to play with them still as long as they are trying, im not so perfect myself, its called been a good sport and having fun :)

So you`re saying i shouldn`t kick a low n7 vanguard with a sniper and a claymore on silver??

Hm... it is silver. They have a very nice shotgun and together with the sniper rifle it will at least keep them from suicide-charging so often. You could do worse.

Tbh I've played with n7s under 60 in gold and they did quite well I've played with n7s over 2k and they succed

I've play gold matches with odd team setups and we get full ext (2 human soldiers 1 AA and a krogan vanguard I was the only lvl 20 AA)

It is all down to how you prefer your team load out. Some like the ez matches some like it harder not everyone will agree with each other that's just life deal with it. Does it succ to be kicked cuz of what class you want to play sure rage while your moving to another lobby. Coming to the forums to tell pplz to stop won't change anything imo just brings a lot of flaming/trolling/useless posting.

PS the worst thing is being kicked without being giving a reason by pplz WITH mics. Much prefer to be asked to leave or change loadouts which I've ran across a few that ask for me or someone else to leave for friends or that have asked a person if they would try a lower challenge cuz of low lvl weapons etc that to me is much more respectful and brings less drama then outright kicking and saying nuthing ofc as I said this is the net and your going to run into all types of pplz ezier to move on then getting worked up over someone that can't see you.

Side note I'm still looking for pplz on the xbox to confirm my thoughts that trying to double throw will not set off your BE even after a tech has hit your warp again on the XBOX

My warp recharge is 2.22 sec

My throw recharge is 1.23 sec

My statis recharge is 3.33

Weight +200% just incase someone wants to confirm

Well, I am fine with that, but if two Brutes are charging and you see me throw a Warp and then just hit overload, you are asking to get wiped.

Tech Burst/BE chain does almost double damage in little over a second more.

Thanks...will have to play around with it, a bit.

People have the right to play gold with whatever loadouts they want, just as other have the same right to choose to play with the players they want to.

It works both ways. Both ways are just as reasonable. There are plenty of games to go around.

Good post.  I would second the effort to find this out.  I am on PC but would like to see if this works.

All three people have to kick you so if you were kicked it was probably for good reason. More so if you are talking Gold/Reaper where you need a team that compliments each other. If you have low level rares and/or a low N7 rating, expect to be kicked in any serious Gold/Reaper team.

op has a point....i see no point in initially kicking cause you dont know how good/bad the other person is on the sticks until you play....now, after we play, and if you didnt contribute, then a kick is justified...also, what i dont understand is gold players demanding players prove themselves before they can play....lol at that....they act like they started on gold and were great at it....everyone has to start somewhere...just how you had to get your feet wet, so do others...

There's also the whole Idea of being polite. I, for example, am probably going to try gold this weekend, despite being a primarily silver player. When I do, I'm going to get on my mic and explain :"hey, I'm new to gold. I apologise in advance if I end up a burden, but i'll do my absolute best to avoid that." Then I'll pick a class that synergises. Got a lot of adepts? Maybe I'll run my Turian Sentinel. Fighting Geth? Engineer time! and so forth.

If its on gold, the team has a right to kick anyone they believe will be detrimental to the game.

On silver or bronze, just let the little guys play!

EDIT: An to the ones saying give them a chance, that can be a painful 20-30 mins of you and your team carrying someone (who you knew from the start would be a problem) who isnt contributing and using up a ton of equipment. Thats why you should just be prepared to be kicked on gold and dont take it so damn personal.

I can see it now...... Bioware continues to give no incentive to promote characters.... those of us who play well, but don't give a damn about N7 ranking start getting kicked in a year for not having an N7 or 2000 or whatever, whether we do well in gold or not....

get over it op. if you want to play gold you have to expect to get kicked from a few lobbies if you are not using and effective class build with good gear. if a n7 70 using a level 8 batarian soldier your damn right im voting to kick. if you have no mic im kicking. if you sit there for 5 minutes without getting ready im voting to kick.

I will instant kick a player for having weapons with 1 mod, or for using 2 heavy weapons on most Adepts or Engineers, or for only using a low level Predator.  I do not generally kick for weapon selection based on class, unless its the weight issue.  (I play shotgun Inf on the rare occasion that I do play Inf, and my human soldiers usually use Striker/Evi with the defensive AR setup)And I am mostly a Silver player.  I play golds occasionally, and always pull my weight, simply because I go with something that works with the team that I know works on gold.
I will not subject the regular gold players to my silver skill level unless I know I'm not going to handicap 3 other players.  I will take a level 20 AA or DA if there is another biotic on the team and set-up or finish their combo's.  If there isn't another Adept, I will roll with my Engineer because that is the class I am most familiar with and can do the best on against any faction (the fact that it's the one I enjoy the most is just a perk :) ).

If they are JUST spamming overload, you will very likely not get to detonate your warp.  However, the only Engineer likely to spam just overload is the GE, and thats because its the ONLY attack ability they have if their turret is already up (Hunter Mode, Turret and Overload).  All the Other engineers will be dumping an Incinerate after to pump in some damage + detonate their combo which they probably are not aware that you just popped for them.
However, this is simply because Overload is an instant hit and Throw has a travel time.  In theory, you will eventually get 2 throws in between his overloads, but whether it happens before your warp falls off is the question.

if you have no mic im kicking.

I, personally, don't agree with the mic. thing. I constantly and successfully play Silver and gold matches with no mic. 3 of the other people I play with regularly when they are on have mic's, and 2 of them almost NEVER EVER speak. One of us is more or less the party leader, and he'll speak up very rarely and suggest this or that, or call for support in a specific location, and we all collapse on that location, but that is a rare occasion. We did Reapers/Random Location Gold for a few hours, and had extractions with classes that usually don't have much Synergy. One example is a full extraction with a Human Soldier/Turian Sentinel/Quarian Engineer/Asari Adept. Given, we all know these classes very well, but that's just an example, and an afterthought about the mic.... back on to that topic... I play on my PC, and my husband plays on his xbox... he didn't start playing until after the promote weekend event, so he doesn't see the point in promoting, so his N7 rank is very low, and his weapons still suck, but he is an above average gamer with RL tactical, and strategy knowledge..... and has a mic. but pretty much NEVER uses it. I think I've seen/heard him un-mute his mike on one single occasion, because he was in a Bronze lobby, and the leader says "Let's kick (player X) because he doesn't have a mic, and we all want to be on the same page here." My husband simply said, "Dude, I'm outta here if you're gonna be that way on Bronze." And he found another lobby. My hubby's just a quiet guy, and doesn't speak much anyway IRL.

Point being. Mic's are NOT ESSENTIAL for success in this game. Playing as a team, and using the class you are playing to it's fullest potential is.

Back to the OP, would I kick someone who has a strange loadout for certain classes? Nope. I give people a chance for one or two rounds in publics, and if they do stupid ****, I leave the lobby, and find another one. If others play well, regardless of loadouts, I keep playing with them. The extra consumables are worth the diamond in the rough friends you meet in this game.
Just my 2 cents.

First of all why how can someone expect a gold player to be so good as to be able to carry and/or solo the whole match yet if they deem you worthy of a kick because they can't or don't want to carry they automatically become elitist? Aren't you assuming they can make up your weakness just as much they're assumming that you can't?

Secondly, I don't kick unless they have both low level and low n7 score on Gold, but usually if they get 2 kicks I look at there loadout and for the most part offer the third and final kick. Other than that I don't kick.

I regularly play silver/gold about 60/40. When this event rolled out yesterday I did a gold run and got full extraction, it was fun, but the team disbanded. So a couple games later in new PUG and we're wiping before second objective. Groups disbands. I pick my QI and do FBGiant/Reapers/Gold match and we're doing alright first half. Second half and 1 to 3 people bleed out per wave, then on wave 9 me and a BS is 2maning it at the end and a banshee do a jump-impale combo on me and the BS now have to solo, he had a claymore and a revenant. I don't know how long it took him to take out the 2 remaining banshees but it was quite awhile(he didn't seem to have any missiles). Wave 10, hacking at the bottom. I use all five of my missiles to save/help keep us from being swarmed. Somehow, I'm out of missiles, my team is all dead and I'm the last man standing with a 1/4 left on a hacking bar. I lead all the mobs from the hacking then cloak and run back. I'm now contemplating finishing the objective and suiciding because it's been to long already and I'm tired of it feeling as if it's less than a 4man team. I even ask my team do they want full extraction. No response. I proceed to solo it and we get full extraction. Timer reads 55mins.... Longest I ever took in gold was 37mins and I'd just finished a run that took nearly an hr. So now if my team is wiping on like wave 3 and I'm the last one down I'm bleeding out, even though I have like over 200 medi-gel.

So moral of the story, I understand why they kick, not everyone thinks its fun to solo and/or carry a whole team 30mins+ or waste that much time and get as much credits as a silver match or less depending on when the team wipes. Kicking is a preemptive strike to possible failure. And I've gotten the X before and I'll just speak up, usually it's only 1 person and we end up doing the match. Don't just sit there waiting for the other two to get pressured or wizens up to finalize your kick.

@WV I understand how everything works but since most PC players say to "just use throw again" to set your BE off I figured wth ill try it on xbox.

So far no matter what skill is used I can not get that effect like PC players, they ED behind my warp double throw won't work overload/chain overload/someone else's warp doesn't matter . My throw as I posted is fast enuff to cast 2 be4 I have warp rdy again add the equipment boost to increase speed of power recharge and I can cast fast enuff that I should see this "double throw" effect like PC but yet i have never got it to happen nor have I played with any player on the XBOX that has done it. The only time.I see multi BEs from me double throwing on one unit is when someone uses reave I can set reave off for them as many times as I can cast throw be4 their reave ends

Now idk about PC but warp on xbox you can clearly see the enemy unit turns blueish/purple even when a teammate does it I see it. sometimes I hit warp by mistake on that said target but most of the time I set their BE off so I would notice when it came off no question there.

I could be wrong and just not doing something right but I've tried several different ways and nuthing works I can do reload cancel all day on my javi but this "double throw" eludes me which makes me think that it just does not work on the xbox like it does on the pc which is why I would like someone on the xbox to confirm
