However, if I see an N7 < 50, with a character < 15 using a funky loadout, yes I'll kick you.

I always let people who have a low N7 rating join my matches. Then, some (not all) of the time during a Gold match with them makes me wish I *boooooooted* them in the lobby. It's not because someone is 'bad'. it's because those people usually run around like fools in the later waves and get vaporized in seconds.BERT AND ERNY wrote...

But just becasue they, acording to you, have a bad loadout they deserve to be kicked, dont make sense to me.
Of course, if they are rolling adept and are packing the 2 heaviest
weapons they can find, its weird to play adept and not soldier that excel in weapons and not powers.
But still, how can you know if they suck before you even have seen them in action, what do you know, maybe
they can solo the hole match with that "wrong" setup?
Maybe they have some insights you lack? Maybe they have worked out some great way to use that setup,
maybe they have found a way to bug the colldown system the same way
Infiltrators did to use those heavy snipers without any penalty?
Of course, thats alot to expect, most of the time they maybe are idiots that dont know what they are doing, and you are to tired to put up with them, and theu probebly will die all the time, or charge into that Banshee and recive a loving hug.
And heres a good thing to think about, how do you think that "perfect" setup you are using are called "perfect"? Beacuse someone, maybe you, one on this forum or a friend tested it out and decided it worked. Someone tested that Salarian Infiltrator with Black Widow X and found out a way to bug the colldown and turn a good build into an even better one. All builds was uncommon in the beginning.
And judging someone by their N7 ranking is just silly. That is like trying to judge how smart someone are by counting their nose hairs.

The thing is, it was a BRONZE game. Just...why? It's probably for the best, because I don't think I want to play with people like that. Gold and Silver are one thing, but if you're kicking anyone, especially relatively experienced players, from Bronze for having low-level characters, then I am ashamed that you are part of the ME3 community.
Please go away and never come back.

Second of all, I understand why others do. From what I read on the forum most only kick because they are tired of getting burned. Tired of giving the benefit of doubt to players their better judgement tell them not to allow. I doubt its just an "I'm good, you suck" mentality. Its probably more along the lines of trial and error and now trying to minimize the error.
And third of all N7 is not accurate to determine skill but from experience, where most are doing there trial and error work, its a good guestimate. Low N7 could mean you're noob or just don't promote. They're probably more noob players with low n7 scores then they're good N7 players who just don't promote. So it is a somewhat best guestimate. It's kinda like opening up a spectre pack when you maxed all you're rares, there's a chance you'll get a ultra-rare/N7 but mostly likely you'll get an unwanted character card.
And so many of you all are saying take a chance you'll never know. Don't you think they already have been doing just that? Don't you read where most say they have been first doing just that, taking chances. Now they are fed up and trying to weed out bad experiences before they happen. And the best way is to determine that is to gather up your experiences and use it as a guest to what to look out for. And in doing that, it get some people kicked. We are all here to have fun and to some the bad experiences are not fun so they utilize the kick function to the best of there knowledge/ability/guestimate to weed out potentially bad experiences.
I can agree that it sucks to be the one kicked. But it may equally suck to feel you should have kicked that player and not and then in game, wish you had. There's been times when I wanted to ragequit but I stuck it out and got my credits then jumped out the lobby first chance I got.

i commented that if he wanted to use the class for biotics he may want to drop one of the heavy weapons or change to a class that could possibly use both, he was quite new to the game and as a result he swapped to a carnifax and geth smg and stayed with us for 6 games went from n7 19 to n7 100
i always try to comunicate with players only reason i will kick someone is after 5 minutes and they still havent hit ready...

I can fully understand why people kick, after having to play with (well, lets call them "rookies" to make it easy) and most of the time getting hard proof on their suspicions.
But still, kicking someone becasue of N7 rank, class, race and setup? Thats not really nice for the one in question. I myself are only 130 N7 because I have only promoted once by acident, and I often use the Avenger X on my Engineer and Sentinel, because I like the feel of the Avenger. I even sometimes pack with me a predator pistol, just for fun. And I allmost never top the the score board, often falling behind with 1-2 thousend points.
And by the standards of the so called "Elit players", I'm worse to have on a team than a sack of old sacks.
They cant really expect people to acept it, when they can be real asses about it, becasue they really like to stick alot of insults in their arguments.
(I'm not in any way meaning evryone of the gold players are like this, lets say, "a few rotten apples spoil the bunch")
I can understand their reasons and logic, but that dosent mean I like it.

Embrace the challenge, I know I do. If you're not good enough to carry people, you really are no one to be saying who's "ready" for Gold (and if you are, then carry them, stop being a d*ck).

Seriously? I know I can't carry a team so I shouldn't kick N7 1 players from a Gold lobby?
I *know* I can't carry them. I'm not going to ready up with them so we can all die on Wave 3.

During Operation Weekends Gold players are out to complete the Commendation Objective. And that means killing as many banshees as fast as you possibly can. If you choose sh***y retarded weapons that barely do any damage you're likely to get kicked.
Playing how you want at any other time, well thats different. Nothing at stake but a few credits in that case. By all means its a good idea to experiment with powers/weapons. Just don't waste people's time when it comes to the bi-weekly special tasks.

the way the game is structured, if they are hosting the game they absolutly have the right to kick people. I may not agree with it, but as bailey says "there it is"
