Another fact: In the Weekend op post, Chris mentions Vorcha, Tech specialists, and Cerberus Defectors.

Says nothing about Protheans, Phoenix, or any 4th possible-class.

"Cerberus defectors have verified key intel on Reaper banshees to help
provide us a vulnerability to exploit. Banshees are created from a
specific kind of asari that cannot be replaced quickly, so we are
diverting forces to focus on an all-out banshee extermination effort."

Fair point. And we are all making speculative stretches here. But Cerberus defectors could just be flavor text concerning the last operation "Operation Exorcist" which targeted Cerberus.

Right?

Exactly. My point was though, that Cerberus Defector, Vorcha and Tech specialists were the only classes named.

Unless you wanna play as Banshee :P (Krogan Headbutting squad has met its match!)

the concencus was that if it was Vorcha, Male quarian, Cerb it would be:
Cerb Adept
Vorcha Soldier
Male quarian engineer
Vorcha sentinel
Male quarian infiltrator
Cerb vanguard

Ex-Cerberus.

Is Miranda Indoctrinated? Jacob? Any of the scientists from Jacobs mission? And Cerberus agents that left before ME3?

Nope/

We will have teams of mirandas and jacobs now? None of those  scientists you mentioned showed any significant biotic (or combat) skills, they working on Crucible and there were only a handful of them. And who are those  Cerberus agents that left before ME3 you mentioned?
As I already said, I would like to see some ex-Cerberus in mp, I just doubt it will happen.

Why does everything mentioned in the post have to be evidnce to an upcoming Multiplayer character? Can't flavor text be just that? Sure, there's a coincidence in them mentioning Vorcha after the supposed "Rebellion" leak, but can't "cerberus defectors" and "tech specialists" just be them trying to add continuity to the Weekend Events? If we know anything about Bioware, it's that they love continued continuity. They also love long winded explainations, which is what I'm thinking these Blog post updates are, just an attempt to make the events seem like an ongoing thing.

Obviously there wouldnt be any Biotic using enemies in the game.

Can you imagine the amount of tears? We'd need a second Ark.

Following the trend from the last DLC, the new classes were teased in official posts. This DLC follows the same trend.

"Cerberus defectors have verified key intel on [...]"
Cerberus defectors equals Phoenix. I'm not saying the From Ashes > Phoenix reference doesn't make sense, I'm saying the Cerberus > Phoenix greek mythology connection + Rebellion > Cerberus defectors makes more sense, and fits their position on lore. Phoenix Adept Vanguard, as per the leak.

"The vorcha want in"
This one's obvious. Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel.

"technically-skilled personnel"
Definitely male Quarians in the role of Engineer & Infiltrator.

I don't see any room for Protheans.

How long before we can all agree I was right about Protheans. I'm sure the lack of Protheans in this DLC won't stop you all, so how long? What about 6 months from launch? If by then there's no Protheans we can declare ourselves right. Until then, feel free to keep crying about lore not mattering, or worse, clones and undiscovered pods and retcons.

Wait... wasn't Miranda a biotic specialist? And wasn't she genetically manipulated to be a "perfect" biotic that didn't require implants?

Alright, I think I finally found evidence that ex-Cerberus already are in game:

masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Broker_Terminal
Email from Captain A. Reynolds to Miranda Lawson:

"Ms. Lawson:

The Alliance wishes to express its gratitude for your assistance. With the information you've been sending us on Cerberus, we've been able to avoid ambushes they were setting up for our supply convoys.

We'd offer you additional resources, but I understand you've procured a class-F private fighter and joined up with former colleagues. I also understand that several Cerberus bases were lost after being attacked by a reported group of "private special operatives" of no known affiliation.

The Alliance cannot officially condone this kind of independent operation, nor do we actually confirm that these operations are taking place.

Good luck, Ms. Lawson."

-Hopefully, we will have them instead of those Prothean ignorant bastards.

Overload, Warp and Slam IIRC....

But no Tech Armor. Kinda a "half" sentinel lol

But yeah, sentinels are Tech + Biotic.

I just mean that her genetic information is already basically on tap from what we know/has been since her "birth." So a platoon of Mirandas showing up is not as out of the question as that quote seemed to imply (stretching believability and jumping the shark, probably). I don't know what her status as a biotic has to do with it, I think some of the finer points in this debate have gone over my head

Yeah but a lot of the squad in ME2 didn't have the signature power of their class. Jack and Samara didn't have Singularity, Zaeed and Grunt didn't have Adrenaline Rush, Mordin didn't have Combat Drone, etc.

LoL, still can't get off it can you troll? Can't recognize when you've been caught in your own words and can't recognize when you should just keep quiet...

It's a shame really. I proved you are a hypocrite that can't listen to reason and logic and accept anything outside the realm of your own understanding and opinion.

By the way, that's pretty much the exact definition of ignorance. Henceforth you shall be known as Ignorant Trollguy.

Just keep poking fun of my college accomplishments. That seems to somehow make you feel like you're right.

You do realize the "energy argument" doesn't stack right, right?

The Protheans had fusion and mass effect technology. Both of which are capable of creating an infinite source of energy. For example... Mass Relays. Which have produced their own power for much longer than 50,000 years. In fact they have been around for an unknown amount of cycles....
