I'm playing on Insanity with my adept and this is my first playthrough as adept and on ME 3.
I have near 50000 credits and was wondering which  is the best way to spend it? On armor or weapon upgrade?
Inferno Armor seems best to me with its 10% power bonus and 20% cooldown reduction.
For weapons however, I was thinking of upgrading my Shuriken or Vindicator to V. BTW how to upgrade my shuriken to X?

NOTICE: I have just reached Citadel and did the Specialist's mission. So please no spoilers...

If this is your first playthrough with that character, level V is the top level you can achieve.

Level X is reserved for NG+ playthroughs.

Inferno armor is not a bad investment for any casting focused class, but keep in mind that 20 or 30% reductions on cooldowns have a pretty marginal real-world effect compared to your weight bonus from weapons (or lack thereof). With a 200% weight bonus, adding an extra 20 or 30% bonus from armor might net you a tenth of a second, give or take. That said, I never found much to spend money on with my adept, so I bought it anyway. You can always upgrade weapons, but I never had much use for them with an adept, since biotics do so much more damage.

You don't need armor, and you definitely don't want to waste money on the Shuriken (it sucks). My advice is to safe credits to get the Paladin (225000), you can get that one quite early in the game. It is very powerful at any range and weights nothing. But weapons are not really important for Adepts so you can pretty much use whatever you want.

You can save credits to buy the Black Widow at 250000 from the Spectre Requisitions.
