I wanted to take away the class restrictions for all classes...
I found the classes.2da file to do so, however, I want to make this available to all players on my server...
Can I just put the 2da in my override and it works for all players?
Or will this edited 2da require something more? (like a hak pak / tlk file / etc)
Please be specific and accurate with your answer / help, thanks..

2da overrides tend to only work for the player with the file, so could you be a bit more specific as to how your map will be distributed? will it be a single player map that anyone downloads? or a multiplayer map on a server?

I was under the impression most of the 2da files you put in the override work for all players...
(Thought I don't think they would see it on their character sheet, will need to test this, somehow)

No, The PC level up is handled by the client. Therefore anything having to do with LevelUp will have to be present on all clients.

Ah I understand now, I thought you meant you were creating a map and wanted to remove the class restrictions. No I don't think you do have to make a tlk... although I may be wrong. And as for allowing other players to have no class restrictions, they will need the altered file themselves also

You will not need a talk unless you are looking to change the discriptions or any of the other test that is displayed during the level up. A hak with the 2da's will work for all levels except first level.
If you want to remove first level restrictions it will have to be an override or a patch hak. Of cource that means that the player would also have to remove the override or patch when not playing your server.
