The problem is not with IT. Its just the ending and from any point of view.

From IT point of view : then we don't really know what happens in the end.
-Are we still at war with the reaper?
-Who wins?

From Literal point of view: Too many inconsistency
-Why are my team member in the normandy?
-How can shepard survive a fall from the citadel if he chose destroy?

The ending is either not finished or contains inconsistency... Choose your flavor.

Personally, yes, and unnervingly so. Image IPB
That's still up in the air. Image IPB

This is why there should have been a PROPER Epilogue, to state what happens to everything/everyone, after shooting the tube. Image IPB

No because that would spell out indoctrination! Its more meaningfull if we discover it ourselves rather then it just telling us...hell they mite as well not have even indoctrinated us if they were going to just tell us anyway. Thats why we have "speculations"!

NO, not the indoctrinated part, the fill in the blanks part regarding everyone/thing else after stopping the reapers.

The Indoc, is purely ..............wait............... why the hell NOT tell us if we were indoc'd, crap that would put all other gripers' out of our collective misery!!

I'm not even going to further my speculation AFTER EC, because why should we, to begin with? Image IPB

This whole nightmare is a contrived convoluted frag-job from hell@!Image IPB

Start it with the Citadel. "Ah, yes Reapers. The immortal race of sentient starships allegedly waiting in dark space. We have dismissed that claim." It's the Geth screwing with your mind.

Also an excellent point.  Anyone who's ever spent any time on the Citadel cannot be trusted.

So we can only trust Vega for the first 30-60 minutes of ME3? Everyone is tainted

I don't think you actually spend much time near the relays. The Citadel on the other hand..

Wow.  This is rapidly getting out of hand.  It's like the whole freakin' galaxy is indoctrinated.

Maybe that little kid on Earth was the last non-indoctrinated sentient being in the galaxy.  And he got blowned up.  :crying:  Really, that was the real end to ME3.

damn, only the Geth are reliably non-indoctrinated. And they're the bad guys! (since we only see these mythical reapers after indoctrination)

Because everything throughout the 3 games has always been about Stopping/killing/destroying the Reapers, if one is to accept control/synth, then you've simply given in to the Reapers, and are no longer a person with an actual body.

This was explained by star-twit, "control"=you will lose everything you have, "synth"=being absorbed into the collective.

You're still alive though, even if you're not "yourself"

No, plain and simple, physically absorbed into the collective, is being liquified and poured into their 'gastank'.

As for control, huh funny, electrocution has a funny way about destroying nerve routes. it's rather horrifying to be honest.

Once you've mastered 220V you'll understand.Image IPB

Erm, you do understand that under IT none of that really happened? This is not The Matrix. Your mind does not make it real. Resisting indoctrination is not the same as surviving.

whoa sorry, then if Shep is still in london, then there's still a fight waiting on us, and there's a reaper twit that needs an asskickin'. yup. You can't miss him...........about so tall, kinda bratty. Image IPB
As for the whole 3 ways to get that breath, NO, that's only by breaking the indoc(symbolized by shooting the tube), and waking up in London, BEFORE going up to the Citadel, for real this time. Image IPB

OP The winning option being red could mean a few things if IT is true...

1. 'Good' guys don't always win
2. The road to hell is paved with good intentions
3. It's a trap
4. Maybe choosing control is away to win but you absolutely die. Your mind hangs on long enough to distract the Reapers as a whole the sword can make strikes on the capital ships allowing for a conventional victory or retreat if they plain to hang onto the reapers as bad guys for ME4... While destroy takes out only Harbinger (Killing Seran disoriented Sovereign) Also allowing them to win/retreat and some thin along those lines for Synth... The more willing you are to listen to the Reapers the more costly the victory or retreat

Who said Indoc=death?, as far as I know the only time death occurs, is if the EMS is to low while choosing Destroy.

I'm confusedImage IPB

you rejected the idea that those who picked control and synthesis might have the same breath offscreen (indicating that they are alive) didn't you?

My problem with IT is all of the sudden the reapers become Vizzini   ,and we have to think that the game is willing to out and out lie to us, which makes it hard to conclude anything about the game.

I'm kind of liking the Bacon theory, though. Shepard, do you not realize? The entire galaxy is crunch and delicious!

It cause of the colors! Blue is paragon, but the reapers are trying to trick you so they make it red. ITers say this all the time.

I don't want it to have anything to do with morality. There should be no paragon or renegade choice during the indoctrination attempt. A total **** and a knight-errant can both have iron wills that the Reapers can't bend. The colors shouldn't be anything more than the illusion of morality, designed to confuse Shepard and the player. Refusing to allow the Reapers to remain, which is what everyone, from max paragons to max renegades had set out to do, is what you should focus on.

There was no morality to wiping out the polio virus. It was a threat to everyone, and would only ever be a threat to everyone, so we got rid of it. The Reapers stated that there can be no peace. They were given opportunities at peace and rejected them. Norality has nothing to do with destroying them.
