Funny, that. Whoever disagrees with the "Raaaaaah! Ending sux! Waaaaah!" sentiment is a lying, paid off stooge and those who cater to the angry gamer crowd are professional, amazing, super duper heroes.

When you're sold an entertainment product, you're sold emotional sensations. It's only normal to form your "pass/fail" idea on a product based on emotions.

The avengers movie was a great thrill ride and I loved watching it.

But it doesn't make it a good or bad movie. Likewise, a movie like The Black Swan or somethng that is a bit more artsy is slow and lugubrious, but explores thematical things that elevate it.

It's apples and oranges based on emotional impact. The problem is that Mass Effect 3 tried to have the cake and eat it, instead of going for one or the other.
