One had equipped an Assault Rifle level 3 amp......and they only equipped a hornet.

An N7 500+. Gets killed twice on Wave 1 by cannibals. When anyone else dies, he proceeds with the insults. Note however, the other players were getting off'd by bosses. Banshees, brutes, ravagers. And yes, he eventually dies again, to a cannibal, but everyone else is a trash player.

Asari Vanguard with the M90 Indra, vs Reapers.

The map turned out to be firebase reactor, so yeah that was pretty fun. To make matters worse, said vanguard was grabbed by a Banshee in almost every wave because she honestly thought stasis would stop them.

Krogan Vangurd joins the lobby, doing Cerberus on FBW on Gold. We all take our positions downstairs so we keep the enemy in check and also to keep the enemy from spawning all around us. The guy stays at the "usual" area at top of the ladder even though we keep telling him to get hiss ass down where we were. But even when we are given a hacking objective at the landing zone, he would not biotic charge, would not melee so we die slowly and painfully. Het kept trying to pistol the enemy down. (And I was an idiot enough to use all my 5 medi gels to complete the objective, but we got ran over...)
After about 40 minutes of gameplay I ended up with a 20 minute silver game worth of credits, -5 medi gels and -5 cobras.

N7 400+ Asari Adept who spent about 2% of the time using biotics (even then only stasis) and 98% shotgun raining and being hurled to the floor cursing the "dayum skinneh ****es!"

Krimsonknight, Mutant Hubb and some other guy. They called me every name in the book for using a Drell Adept with Paladin 2 and GPSMG X. I made it my goal to own the match and I did. If they had a clue they would know you use GPSMG because of light weight material. It has helps with shields/barriers. Plus, The Drell Adept rules in the right hands.

Any looking for some1 to play Gold with? I'm tired of carrying till wave 10 and then having my group get insta gibbed. AMong other things today I've played with human adepts packing snipers...infiltrators who don't cloak..etc. My gamer tag is ExplosiveGnome1

Some guy with a level 5 Geth Infiltrator. Seriously. Level FIVE? On Gold? I threatened to kick him if he didn't change to a higher-level character. Eventually got him to switch to a level 17 Asari Justicar adept. Other than that, he did okay.

Krogan on FBWGG who took position at the bunkers outside the "room". Which is fine, except that instead of picking off incoming, he would just get overwhelmed while attracting a horde to our back door. About half way through each wave he would die and as soon as he did I knew we were screwed.

We made it until Wave 9 when after several blitzes the GI who kept ending up as the sole survivor ran out of medigels.

He meant well, and not utterly incompetent - but it did drive me a bit crazy that after three waves of the same thing happening he didn't change up his strategy.

He actually did pretty well, but around wave 3 he was kind of useless.

I saw a guy yesterday who spent about 5mins running away from a banshee...the whole team was down and he was all that was left.
He sniped the half dozen assorted marauders etc but everytime the banshee came near he ran away.
I think he made at least 4xfull laps of giant with the banshee in pursuit....cloack,run,hide etc like he was expecting the banshee to die of old age.
Eventually he seemed to realise that she wasnt going away by herself so he attempted to snipe her...and was killed lol.
Thing is he didnt seem to be that bad an infiltrator so I have no idea what was going through his mind but watching him squeal and run was priceless.

 I feel like nominating myself for a game I played yesterday where I got insta-killed THREE TIMES in the same game on FB:Giant by banshees.  Its not exactly an enemy that tends to sneak up on you either.
It was one of those games that makes you feel like changing your name and going into witness protection. 


edit: Though technically this might not count since it was before the event started so I might be in the clear.

Krogan Vanguard on Ghost against reaper who glitched out doing the BC and dying at same time who was floating above the board by end of round 3. Stayed in all the way til extraction, not fighting, just floating. Game over I win!

I've had a few this weekend (probably because people are clamouring to get the commendation pack), but the best was as a Drell Adept in a radom map vs Reapers on Gold. I was put into a match that was already underway at Ghost. Though when I spawned I could only see skulls over the bodies of the other guys who were already there. 

I didn't have time to check what wave it was cos I was immediately being sniped by cannibals, marauders and a few brutes charging at me. Needless to say I was brought down by some random cannibal behind me, and I couldn't be bothered to revive myself.

At the end, the MISSION FAILED screen told me that we wiped out on wave 2.

Drell martial artist against reapers. Apparently I was mistaken and the best course of action to kill brutes and banshees is to run up to them and punch them followed by lots of cartwheels.

The enemies agreed with his strategy.
