Human engineer who was the last man standing along with a single banshee. After running around Hydra for ten minutes trying to kill her with his drone and occasional Saber shots, the Banshee manages to kill him with warp. I was stunned. I mean, really? If you can't handle a single banshee why are you even on Gold?

Haha, I've been using my GI with a Javelin X for the weekend challenge. 1 shotting brutes and ravengers is entertaining.

Well that would be me, today!

I honestly don't know what the problem is (other than clearly I have zero business on Gold - though I don't remember Gold being that totally insanely bad during last operation).

Trying a number of Gold runs today and trying my very best (admittedly, having a few facepalm worthy moments here or there) but dammit, getting overrun by Reapers each and every time. What a furpile - 2 Banshees, 2 or more Brutes, some Reavers thrown in there so hilarity's sake, and why the heck not, some Marauders too - with me at the very bottom of that furpile being revived and trying to get away from that particular cluster****, but of course no such luck (it taking a second or two to get control of my toon back after getting back, during which time a Brute decides to pull me back into a hug or a Reaver decided to throw a firecracker my way).

Today has been a truly horrible experience and I can only imagine how the other team members must have felt. As much as I would like to try some Gold runs every now and again so I could make some decent credits, in order to improve my gear - yeah, if today has taught me anything, it's to stay the hell away from Gold, cuz I simply suck at it despite trying my damndest to aid the team and complete the mission.

Definitely an occasion for a sad panda face, if I ever saw one.

Did my best, found my favorite gun the wraith, used my best class and equipment, and never got past wave 4, we all kept dying.

I think ill stick to silver and bronze from now on.

Me. Never played as a Krogan, decided to make a Hot Pink Soldier with some Geth weapons. Didn't do too bad, scored second place...but I died at least twice EVERY ROUND. There was some inf genius with an N7 > 2000 who kept following me around reviving me though. Made me happy. Krogans are useless unless you get up close and melee, and I think he got that.
Scored like 80k. He scored about 140k.
Crazy.

We ran an entire party of asari with the Kishock on Condor/Reapers/Gold. 

It's not optimal, but it's amusing harpooning banshees on the moon.  The Kishock is effective enough, and 130% CD on a justicar is perfectly viable.

I joined a gold match today about thirty seconds into wave one. Me and this salarian infiltrator join at the same exact time, and the second we join we see the kill sign on the other two players. Two players died at the beginning of wave 1 on gold. I mean come on, that's just sad.

The human sentinel rarely used warp or throw and was using a large gun, might have been a falcon. The geth infiltrator didn't revive anyone, he kept sniping through objectives.
The majority of biotic explosions was from my warp bubble which isn't saying much since it only takes two blinks for banshees to pass them. At least the vanguard was badass, and the infiltrator knew how to snipe. Longest game I've ever played!!

Edit:  Yes, this player had a mic and straight up admitted they didn't have any points in Reave.  At lvl 20.  He was spamming Pull the entire time against shielded targets.  

omg that's bad. Its like having a gun but no ammo

i have a friend and he has nothing in the bubble/dome and to me its a great weapon
i use a total offense warp one and make sure to place it or run and drop it on enemys. 
Stuff in one dies so much faster

A GI in Reactor Reapers stood out today. Figured he'd  be ok since he had a gps. It turned out he favored meleeing cause I don't recall him even using the weapon (or TC for that matter). Unfortunately he didnt seem to take any points in said branch because he went down  4 times in the first two waves(2 by cannibal 1 by Maurader and a Brute). All 4 instances were amusing simply because there were no other creatures nearby when I would go and res him. Guess he raged after I watched him get hugged by the cannibal the second time. I felt bad cause I could've prevented it from happening but at that point I was more curious as to what he was trying to do. Rest of the match went smoothly with the Human senti that replaced him.

Unfortunately I have to say I went all out noob trolling a gold match today. I used a respec card to reset my Adepts powers today but thought "hey lets try gold with no powers" so I loaded her up with a crusader and predator and played a gold/reapers/condor match as an asari adept with 0 points in everything. I still think its sad i came 3rd.

im a friggin' 1006 and i yet to have get that gun.

I DA, HSent and a SI join my lobby. Since we didn't have someone to take shooted at by the sake of the team, I switch to my HV, it would even be better since we got a Drell to spam Reave. We ended up on Ghost against Reapers, and it was a nightmare. I got grabbed by Banshees at least 2 times because I was near them using Nova to detonate explosions that none of the other two was setting up, and downed some more by Marauders at my back while I kited Brutes and Ravagers away from the rest of the team. The Salarian did fine, played a couple of other matches with him later. Well at least after much sacrifice we goth full extracted thanks to lots of missiles at wave 10/11, and the two biotics detonating each other powers for my surprise while when I was getting my ass kicked I rarely got help from them on the early waves. I asked them why, and one of them said "Because you were a Vanguard, I didn't though you would need help, you guys are always trying to be the score boarders and don't giving a damn for the team". I changed to Vanguard just to help them, and got this.

After this I just don't give a damn anymore about team synergy. Even if three Adepts join I will not change to a class to help, I will stick to my Engineer and play as it pleases me.

Me, the server decide to throw my level 9 Asari vanguard into a freaking gold match. I been disconnecting for last 2hours in EVERY match I go into. One match I got to wave 11 and disconnected the last 10 seconds.

EA servers you win I quit....time to go play something that I don't have to worry about disconnecting from.

An asari adept armed with a phalanx using only stasis on everything that moved, including armored and boss units. Occassionally used warp but never throw despite myself asking for him to use it.

That happened to me twice, once on gold another silver, but it was my router.
Actually 3 times if you count windows automatic updates resetting my notebook.

My personal winner so far, the worst of quite a few strong candidates;

Guy joins the game on wave 2, looks like he is playing a human engineer with an avenger. After 30 minutes and 11 rounds he has a whopping 7000 points, and I didn't see him overload once, and he was actually playing the whole time.

When the scoreboard comes up, it shows that he was actually a level 16 infiltrator Didn't see him cloak once either though.

Anyone better?
