Three dead marauders.
Yup, **** against reapers.
Sure, stronger against Cerberus or Gethies, but can hold their own with reapers.

I did three FBW/G/G runs yesterday purely to get the weekend objective. Never been in Gold before that. All three had their ups and downs, but the most aggravating was the third run.
Enter the idiot; the one who thinks it's a good idea to stay on top of the map even though the rest of the team is below. He died, we didn't bother reviving him and by wave 3 or so he learned to stop running around like a headless chicken and stick near the bottom, right on my spot. It was fine, I adapted. I'm just saying, there were a billion other places to camp down there and he chose the one that gave me (and him) no maneuverability. Eventually I took to moving around a lot more, even though it made it harder for me to place my decoy. Well anyway, we still did a decent job.
Cue extraction, what does the guy do? Runs to the LZ the second the timer starts. I may be a Gold newbie, but even I know you just don't do that. He sees that none of us are following and instead of running back he just plants there. It takes him five seconds to die. None of us are close enough to get through the horde of primes and pyros, run across the entire map and revive him before he bleeds out. Thanks dude, great job there.
you need to be fighting reapers for this weeks objectives
still got time though

That's what I'm talking about. Stupidity on ME3 MP is humongous. After seeing this, who wouldn't be elitist & kick retards like this.

There are two objectives. One is to kill Banshees. The other is to get a full extraction on any gold map with any enemy. You don't have to do both at the same time. FBWGG will work for the second objective. Fighting reapers on any map with any difficulty contributes towards the first.gee666 wrote...

Asari Vanguard with the M90 Indra, vs Reapers.
The map turned out to be firebase reactor, so yeah that was pretty fun. To make matters worse, said vanguard was grabbed by a Banshee in almost every wave because she honestly thought stasis would stop them.
Yeah, I ran into an Asari with Stasis bubble that kept on using it on bosses like Atlas, Banshee etc. I do it myself on the odd occasion when I panic but this person just kept on doing it despite it having no noticeable effect whatsoever.

Thankfully it quickly got a lot better.

They were annoying enough separately, but they finally combined their powers on Wave 10 and caused a near-wipe: my GE was trying to turn off device #4 (because of course the QI didn't want to move), and the Soldier led three Hunters and two Pyros right to me before dying at my feet.

It was Firebase White versus Geth, and these guys weren't even so much as camping in the lower level. They chose to stay up top where they can easily get pincered by everything. It gets worse.
When the going got tough, they apparently didn't know how to get their rockets or medigels going. It gets worse.
The mission failure screen (duh) indicated that the game had already been going for 25 minutes, and I had only been in the game for not even ten of them. We failed at wave six. Think about that math for a moment. It gets worse.
We get back into the lobby and come to find out, the game had deliberately been set to Firebase White/Geth/Gold.
I don't think the word "epic" can even describe this failure.

I saw a guy yesterday who spent about 5mins running away from a banshee...the whole team was down and he was all that was left.
He sniped the half dozen assorted marauders etc but everytime the banshee came near he ran away.
I think he made at least 4xfull laps of giant with the banshee in pursuit....cloack,run,hide etc like he was expecting the banshee to die of old age.
Eventually he seemed to realise that she wasnt going away by herself so he attempted to snipe her...and was killed lol.
Thing is he didnt seem to be that bad an infiltrator so I have no idea what was going through his mind but watching him squeal and run was priceless.
This happened to me and it was SOOOO embarrasing because I knew that everyone was watching. Firebase dagger, silver. Everyone was down but me. I had a single cobra and a Mantis X which is great but I could make a cup of tea in the time it takes to reload. There were 2 banshees and some random Reapers. Took out the cannibals and husks no bother but I was having turd's luck with the banshees. Tried to get them together so I could use the cobra, but it didn't work. Used my one missile kill one, then spent the next 10 mins running round and round and round taking pot shots at the other. She revivied her barrier several times before I finally killed her. Like I said, soooo embarrassing. I have never left a lobby so fast after a match

Why?! - I asked when we failed at wave 5. -Why didn't you revive me?
We don't have medi-gel...
Then in the lobby saw their N7 rank. 80+...

1 Salarian Infiltrator
1 Krogan Sentinel (me)
1 Human Adept
1 Human Engineer
Gold, Firebase Hydra, Reapers
The adept refused to use his biotics and instead charged straight for the Banshees to melee them. It gets worse, because we got to round 7 and it was just me and him left (the other two were insta-killed by banshees) he then told us 'guys, i gotta use the bathroom', put down his controller and left his guy standing in the middle of the map.
This left me with 2 Banshees, 2 Brutes and a few marauders. Thankfully I managed to end the wave with a well placed missile.
I have no idea what that guy was doing in the bathroom though as it was near the end of wave 9 when he returned and said 'I hope it wasn't much trouble for you to look after my character' and im sat there thinking 'NOT MUCH TROUBLE! WE WERE ONE MAN DOWN DUE TO YOU! THIS IS GOLD NOT BRONZE!'
I have never seen anyone get kicked from the team so quickly.....

i couldnt beleive it so proceeded to kick him he then says "i was lagging and couldnt move" which is total bs cause he ran away from primes fine i just replied "LOL maybe if you actually picked up your controller and played as you seem to like running away alot and used weapons best suited for the class instead of AFKing so you get easy level ups for doing nothing then we wouldnt be fast to kick you for costing us full extraction and nearly costing us the game you wasnt lagging as when i was downed and watched you run away from the prime whilst the others came and ressed me you seemed fine... i would name and shame this guy but i wont...
