I figure the games rated M why not have nudity in it

God Of War had ****** in it , so what? Why shouldn't every rated M game?

We can have decapitations and cameltoe but not ******? Really?

The game is rated M yet the word "Sod" replaces F***? I'll have you all know in Saints Row 2 the word F*** is said like 5,000 times in any given playthrough it is legal to say that word in rated M , GoW proved ****** are legal in rated M

So I say DA2 should have ****** and the F word

Perhaps you are the one who doent know to separate what an RPG game can offer you, from the real sexual life of a person.

Sex in a game, like violence, treason, hates, loves, etc..are only posibilites of a game, to give a realistic and depth inmersion.

but what about worshiping other gods? Stealing? Practicing magic? These things and more are objectionable things that real people do in real-life, far more than murder (especially with a sword, for sure) and many groups of people would not want their kids even learning about these things let alone "being encouraged" to try them.



Why do you need stealing in a game? Stealing is wrong by almost EVERYONE'S standards, whether religious or not, regardless of country. Why have that as an ability in the game, an ability that clearly rewards you and doesn't (really) offer any negatives that RL stealing would? Do we want kids wantonly stealing whatever they want from whomever they want?

Yes, I know you don't understand.  Honestly, I don't understand the reasoning either - but The Family (an evangelical Christian organization, with many powerful politicians as members) has a branch in Uganda influencing their politics with their religious trash teachings (NOTE - I'm not saying religions are trash, but the teachings of The Family would NOT be recognizable to most Christians.)
They are being influenced by groups from America that teach that homosexuality is a choice, and that people can choose to be cured of it.  That teaching, couple with the absolutely false teaching that homosexuals molest children at an alarmingly higher rate than heterosexuals, supports Uganda's law being proposed.  That, and blaming AIDS spreading again on gays and not on abstinence only programs and American Christian influences doing away with the very successful condom programs in Uganda.

In their hearts, what most Christians believe their religion is about, what they hold to be their heartfelt beliefs, would never agree with such intolerant and violent acts.  Regardless, these things are being done IN THE NAME OF Christianity.

AND - if we continue this discussion any further here this thread will be locked, if it is not already doomed.  Sorry everyone.  I'll stop here.

Murder may be seen as questionable but is a perfectly acceptable means to achieve/maintain power. A politician can throw out a reason for committing murder and it will be accepted by the people. Eg: invasion of a country to implement *cough cough* human rights.

Stealing is wrong? How's about stealing is only wrong if it's not profitable to the establisment. I can go out and steal a car, and it's punishable by the establishment because I did not earn the money to buy the car and pump that money into the economy. If I need petrol to run that car, it's perfectly alright for the establishment to force me to war against another country to steal it.

What I am trying to say here is that your standard of living is possible because of murder and stealing. Are you guilty of these crimes? By proxy, yes. It is what makes some countries more powerful than others. And you're kidding yourself if you think Western countries are rich because of self merit. Wealth always comes at a cost to someone else because wealth cannot flourish in a closed system.

Funnily enough, DA brings up these issues quite candidly. Hence, for me, the maturity of the game.
