Wow, you'd be a horrible parent. As a father myself I do NOT let my child play games like GTA or games that are over graphic on the sexual content. Yes, I let them play Dragon Age, but not for the reasons you say.

As a parent, you have chosen to create life, your child did not ask to be here, you made that choice for them. Therefore it is your job to protect them and educate them about some subjects when they are ready. Not every child is ready to learn about certain aspects of life when they turn 13 like our biased schools suggest.

According to your theory, I should hand my child a loaded gun and send them out by themselves to go hunting. And if they shoot themselves, well at least they learned something!

Your entire post is so invalid and blatantly stupid I can't comment enough on it. It is up the parent to decide when they teach their child about sex and nudity and the like. This doesn't mean you sit them down and let them watch a porn-o or other digusting sh*t.

My boy is only 8 years old but is extremely mature for his age and he'll probably be ready to learn about the bee's before he's 13. But this does NOT apply to every child.

You can either let your child raise themselves by watching TV and learning from other misled children, like most parents do today, or you can actually be responsible for the life you created and do it yourself.


Unfortunatly, the way our society views sex and religion is due to the stupid teachers in our schools today. They don't teach only the facts, instead they let their own opinions overwrite the FACTS and teach their opinions instead. I went in with my son to school for the whole 'Career Day' thing and the teacher wouldn't let them say the Pledge of Alliegance because it had God in it, another teach sued a different teacher for having 'In God We Trust' on her desk. What's this teaching our children? You tell me, 'cuz it's f*cked up.

Tell me one benefit of having nudity in the game. There isn't any. You can use the age old excuse that it 'increases' your immersion. Which is probably the worst excuse ever. This has been my experience for my entire nearly 30 year life, as well as the experience of my father and grandfather who risked his life to save strangers during the war. They would not be the people they are, and i would not, if they had been meek and unthinking people.

As such, i'm of the opinion that raising weak kids makes one a horrible parent. Even in a well run first world country in peaceful times, you will have to butt heads with people and have runins with scammers. Intelligence and a strong will makes everything a bit easier, not to mention giving economical advantages, and that won't be developed by sheltering your kids.

And ultimately, cutting heads off people really is far far worse than seeing some nipples. If you simply prefer not to have nudity in your games, that's fair enough, but if you have some kind of moral argument for why it should not be in a game like this then you are just a hypocrite and possibly an idiot.

Immaturity abounds. Boobs or not, its still an M-rated game. So, if kids are playing it...they shouldn't be playing it, regardless of polygonal gazongas.



Some countries are just very strict about sexual content. So, rather than be unable to sell a game in certain places, they just made a blanket decision to cut the full-frontal-nudity in favour of something a little more reserved and enjoyable by more people - because now they can actually PLAY IT, rather than sitting on the sidelines going "Man, I'd love to play this game, but why did they have to put naked breasts in it :("

Protecting your child does not make you meek and unthinking. You can protect your child but still educate them. You can teach them about sex without letting them watch porn or letting them shag every girI they date. I think you had bad parents.

Letting your child learn for themselves is usuall hazardous to their health and is never worth the risk when I can teach my child the same thing in a secure environment. I teach him how to shoot a gun and still protect him, I can teach him about sex and still protect him. It doesn't mean I'm meek and unthinking, and please look up the word meek, it isn't synonmous with 'weak,' for the most part it means being humble, which is a good thing.

And I already stated that I've let my child play Dragon Age. I said I didn't let him play GTA. There is a huge difference between those two games.

Please, before you cast insults at least make sure you have a valid arguement to back them.

And for you information, both my grandparents and two of my uncles fought in WW2; My father's father went through Okanawa, the Phillpine Islands and La Tai, and was injured twice and THEN became a police officer. My other grandfather went died at Omaha. So don't pull that card on me buddy.

Never understood this hoolabaloo about nudity in games. How come it's ok to depict horrible beheadings in a game and no one lifts an eyebrow, but if there's even the slightest hint of nipple people go ape****. The human body can be very nice to look at and hardly damages anyone - seeing a horrible gushing hole where the head used to be is neither nice nor harmless.

i dont make the ratings & the referance to the rating was more about the fact that i keep seeing it quoted on the forum what the age/rating/price is as though they are universal facts for the entire world

if my daughter was still that young yes i would but even at that age she was more mature & well balanced than many so called adults are till they hit 27-33
to be quite honest the themes in this game are in many ways less adult or mature than things most <15> year olds have access to on the net or in other forms of media(eg:film,music,print)  or talk about even if many parents want to live with the pixies & think their little angel (insert name here) would not see/talk about/do those sorts of things

The Witcher was a great game but REALLY overdid it on the sex... Sleeping with women just because you gave them a diamond is pretty dumb. Basically every quest reward in that game was a sex scene.
