It's been a long time since I hosted a server, and I was looking for specific help..

I was wondering, does anyone know how I can setup NWNX2  to run from a different drive than the C: drive, and if so, how?

Yes. You can run them from any drive or directory. You just need to create shortcuts from the new location if moving. The only issue I've found is when you've more that one instance of NWNX2 running. In those cases, the secndary, tertiary, etc... modules will fail to load properly most often.

Well, I did what you are saying, creating the shortcut on my desktop, but the game will not let you log in, it says Login Disabled.. in nwnserver.exe...

But when I run nwnserver.exe from the original NeverwinterNights/nwn/ folder, no problems...

Obviously I'm missing something here...

Vista or Win7 perhaps ... in which case you might need to check the properties on your start icons to make certain they are set with the proper approvals. Also, make sure that you have only a single short-cut for NWNX2 on the desktop.

Still haven't been able to get this work, though, at this point, I think you might be correct, it may be a security issue.
